Wonderful place
A friend and I stayed here for six days during Mardi Gras. The place is 1.25 hours from uptown New Orleans, but I am familiar with the area so locating it was not hard. Sandra gave specific details that enabled us to easily find it. Parking was safe and easy on a long gravel driveway. The house was large enough for me to store my bike in the entrance way at the foot of the stairs. The living area was very clean and attractive. Sandra had more amenities than any rental I have ever seen. She even had cotton balls which I needed as my supply was depleted! It was a very enjoyable and relaxing place to return to after long days at the parades. Thank you so very much for providing such a lovely rental.

Fantastic Property and Host
This was the perfect location for our family and pets. My pups loved the path around the pond. The property was lovely and peaceful. The home was spacious and clean, with all necessary amenities. The location was ideal for our travels to Covington, Mandeville, and New Orleans. Sandra is a wonderful host! We’d love to come back! Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.

Nice house outside Covington
We had a very nice stay on this secluded property near Covington. The house was clean and nicely furnished. We only cooked breakfast each morning but the kitchen was we equipped. The property was a little further out from Covington than I envisioned but the location proved to be a good central location for north shore locations we needed to visit.

Quite retreat
The property is on acres of land, surrounded by trees and a pond with fish and turtles , which is very peaceful and relaxing. The owners leave food for the fish and turtles and you are welcome to feed them. The house itself is very well stocked with anything you need for cooking, coffee, tea and the appliances are very easy to use. It was very easy to communicate with the owners and any issues that arise were very quickly fixed. The beds are super comfortable and after long days in the “Big Easy” the were very welcoming. Thanks for the hospitality shown and will recommend your home to friends

Awesome host and property
Sandra was amazing. Even taking care of our dogs so we could do a couple of tours. The house was beautiful and the property was amazing. So much room in the house and on the property. We sat out at the pond and walked all around it. We loved relaxing on the front porch. If you decide to rent this property you will not regret it. Loved loved it.

The perfect place for our family and doxie!
Thank you for hosting the three of us, plus our pup. Quiet, clean, spacious, and convenient. Everything we needed for a family reunion weekend in Covington - Great retreat after reunion festivities, and close enough to Mandeville and NOLA activities/touring. Sandra is very good communicating back and forth, to meet any needs. Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious; kitchen is stocked with all the basics if you're doing your own cooking - all clean and in working order. We didn't use the washer/dryer, but a great plus to have at hand. Comfy and relaxing!

A lovely getaway

Lovely spot for a quiet getaway
This house was situated on a gorgeous little property. We greatly enjoyed getting to stay here and feed the fish/turtles. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the city and just enjoy the quiet of nature!

Anniversary
We were so delighted that we found this VRBO .. so very relaxing! We brought our Border Collie with us and she had a blast ! We caught and released fish from the pond ,sat on the most relaxing porch, we had everything we needed . If we are ever back to Covington we will most definitely stay here again ! My husband said it was the most relaxing place we have stayed in a very long time .. that is saying something! Safe travels

Home is well situated in the serene countryside near to Covington. Convenient to Bogue Chitto area. Host was very communicative and helpful. Check in was easy and the space was comfortable for our group of six.

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I and my sister and niece stayed in this amazing property for a family getaway and we were more than pleased. Sandra is an absolutely wonderful host. Not only did she think of everything you would need and more when you arrive but also was there for us if we needed anything. You have complete privacy but she is also super quick to answer any questions you have. The home is beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. The property is so inviting. We fed fish and turtles and had so much fun. There is not a thing about this trip from booking to departure that was not superb! So glad we found this wonderful home with a wonderful host and we will definitely be back!

Can't wait to stay again!
Our stay was awesome!! Sandra and her husband definitely went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable. Any issues or concerns were addressed immediately. They keep anything you could possibly need on your stay stocked in the home, and if they didn't have it they did their best to get it for you! The property is beautiful and quiet yet close to covington and about an hour to new orleans. During our stay my children enjoyed feeding the fish and turtles and even helping feed the cows! They were also able to enjoy a craft project that Sandra set up for them. I love that I felt like I was at home and that my family was able to make some amazing memories. We can't wait to go back and stay again!!!

Quiet, Clean, and Comfortable
Needed a place to stay on the spur of the moment, and was lucky enough to find this peaceful retreat. The duplex has a beautiful open concept and is SO quiet and serene. We arrived to find snacks, coffee, and cold bottled water. The beds were comfortable, and the heat and air conditioning worked well. Sandra, the property owner, was attentive and helpful, both during booking and our stay. She even offered to show my granddaughter and I the best place/way to feed the turtles and fish in the pond. Great place to unwind and enjoy peace and quiet. I've already booked our next stay! Kathy H
