What a phenomenal property and beautiful area of NY!Our family spent a wonderful week enjoying each others company, catching up with our kids, bonding, fishing, playing board games, exploring the lake, and this beautiful corner of NY. Hit the Catskills, Hudson, and some of the lesser known little hamlets. Wish the leaves had turned a bit more, but still some beautiful colors. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. John was very gracious host and responded promptly with my inquiries in advance of our trip. No issues checking in or with any aspect of the property. Everything exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this property. We will mark this as one of the greatest vacations we've every had.

Good house for families. Too many silk flowers inside and out. Laundry detergent was scented and sheets had to be rewashed by some of our family who are allergic. Nice view and excellent location.

We were in a pinch and thought this house look good in the photos. In person, the photos did not do it justice. Such a cute house, the water and outside leading to it was a wow. We spent much of our time out on the covered back deck. It was so beautiful and relaxing. We would rent again in a hearbeat.

Another great stay at the White Barn. This was our family’s 4th year staying at this lake house. It’s a beautiful property right on the lake we enjoyed swimming and kayaking and the three young children in our group especially enjoyed the playroom. The house is in a great location and is well stocked. The owner is very responsive and we are looking forward to our stay next year.

Wonderful lake front home

We loved everything about this property! It's one of those hidden gems that upon arrival actually looks exactly like the photos. John was wonderful and easy to communicate with the check in and check out were smooth and seamless. The house has everything you would need and the dock and Waterfront are stellar . I highly recommend this for a family vacation on a nice quiet Lake.

Perfect spot for friends get together

I stayed with friends for a golf/fishing trip and the Lake House had everything we needed. An 18 hole golf course was directly across the street and Copake Lake was in our backyard. The back deck at the house was an ideal spot for eight of us to hang out, talk, and play cards and the pool table upstairs had the best pool cues of any rental I've had. Overall excellent stay in Craryville at the Lake House.

Comfortable and beautiful lakeside stay

Easy to find, quiet (our stay was in April), comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, foil, baggies, etc.), and beautiful view. Ping pong table upstairs was a huge hit for us! Had a great stay :-)

Perfect Lakeside Retreat for Family Gathering

Everything was ideal for our Thanksgiving get together. Setting and views were perfect, made even more so with a timely blanket of fresh snow. An amazing amount of cooking provisions allowed us to cook as if we were in our own kitchen. Lots of options for keeping a large group entertained, and sleeping accomodations that pleased everyone. Host was very helpful with check-in communications and gracious with check in and out times without other bookings adjacent to ours. All in all a very special home that we'd love to stay in again if we ever find ourselves in the area in the future!

Fantastic Location for Family and Friends

Seven of us stayed for a long weekend. This property was perfect for relaxing and catching up on the years since we’ve all seen each other. There are multiple outdoor spaces and we used them all. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make meals, including many pantry staples and plenty of towels in the bathroom. You will love this place!

Fantastic stay at the Lake House!

Absolutely incredible stay for our group of golfers that were in town to play Copake CC for a weekend tournament. The lake house is right across the street from the course and was a perfect spot to all get together at night after the round. The house has amazing views of copake lake, and all the amenities you could possibly imagine. We had a total of 8 guys stay at the house, and all were comfortable with room/bed situations, and really impressed with the house. Highly recommended!

Annual Family Vacation

This house is our home away from home. There’s room for everyone. The upstairs playroom is amazing and the lake access is ideal. We dined every night outside on the covered deck. My family has made many happy memories at this lake house.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our week in this comfortable, well maintained, well-stocked lake house. We particularly adored the outdoor space, which included a spacious covered porch with a grill and lake front space to sit and relax, as well as kayaks and a rowboat. Beautiful lake house

We had a wonderful family get together in this lovely, cozy, well kept home. Gorgeous view of the lake. Enjoyed kayaking and row boating. Game room was great. Would definitely come back again.

A beautiful home for a family with all ages

My family (6 adults, 2 toddlers) stayed here for the second year in a row and loved it yet again! It's always fun to see all the upgrades John makes, like the new lower deck by the dock! We absolutely love being right on the lake and spent so much of our time on the upper deck watching the boats go by. The kids had the time of their lives with the playroom upstairs, which is such a great touch. The house is also in a great location, 25 minutes from Hudson and 25 minutes from Great Barrington. Can't wait to be back!
