Located within the leafy grounds of Château de Sonnay in Touraine, in the outbuildings of its AOC Chinon wine estate, the Relais de Sonnay offers you a stay where you can fully enjoy the charm and history of this unique place. Each apartment bears an evocative name: “La Loge Fernand de Saint-Exupéry,” “Le Trianon Isabelle de Maillé,” and “La Motte Wilhelm de Sonnay.”



The Relais de Sonnay consists of a hamlet of three independent holiday rentals, designed to be booked separately or together, depending on your needs.



This listing, "La Motte Wilhelm de Sonnay," accommodates up to 4 guests in a 120 m² space over two levels. It features a private south-facing terrace, a spacious open-plan area with a fully equipped kitchen (including a range cooker), fiber optic internet, and TV decoder. Upstairs, around an open mezzanine, you’ll find two bedrooms/alcoves: one with a 160 cm double bed, the other with two 90 cm beds placed together, plus two bathrooms. The large living area on the ground floor can serve as a lounge for gatherings with guests from other rentals if booked together.



All three Relais de Sonnay rentals have been restored with high-quality materials and traditional craftsmanship: tuffeau stone, lime, sand plaster, steel, terracotta floors, and oak, beech, or cedar wood.



The smallest apartment, for 2 guests, is accessible for people with reduced mobility, while the largest offers a living room that can welcome all guests when booked as a group.
