Hotell för genomresande
Hotellet ligger perfekt för genomresande eller som för oss, vars ändamål med resan var att resa runt och spela golf i Sussex. Det fanns allt vi behövde i form av mat och dryck samt rena och bekväma rum. Hotellets geografiska placering gör det lätt att ta sig med bil till det mesta. Man får dock finna sig i att äta och dricka på hotellet om man inte tar taxi till andra ställen. Detta i sin tur gör att prisläget på hotellet är högre än restauranger och pubar i närliggande omgivning. Kvalitén på maten är bra och servicen helt ok.

Det enda som inte fick höga poäng var maten i den buffé-resturang där vi åt, bara 3/5. I övrigt mycket nöjda

Helt ok!
Lite "ensligt" läge. Man är nästan tvungen att vara på hotellet kvällstid om man inte har hyrbil eller åker taxi.

Everything was good. Breakfast was great. Service was great, We did expect a bit more from the front desk. Will stay again.

Sett sina bästa dagar
Hotellet har inte sett en renovering på länge. Synd. Parkeringsavgift trots att hotellet ligger mitt ute på landet är att ta i. Informationen var dålig kring olika frågor. WiFi fungerade inte och tv:n fungerade inte heller. Bedömningen 4 stjärnor var inte rätt. Det hade nog varit så för 20 år sedan men inte nu.

Copthorne Hotel, nära Gatwick airport
Hotellet mycket mysigt med fina rum, trevlig miljö, dock kan det vara långt till rummen med mycket bagage, det består av många byggnader som är ihop byggda. långa och trixiga gångar. Mycket trevlig personal.

Hotel nära Gatwick
Mycket trevligt hotell. Ger en känsla av att vara betydligt mindre än det är. Mycket bra personal i såväl reception som restauranger. Fantastisk fruckost.

Very impressed with the attitude and helpful staff at The Copthorne- it’s very difficult during COVID but Peter and Toni do their best to ensure everything available is explained fully and keep a smile on their face throughout! All the staff were very very pleasant and the hotel might require an update after the covid recovery but it’s very clean warm comfortable and value for money Thank you

Putting a 5'10" person in a room where they can't stand upright in the shower is poor .... and dangerous. But that's what happens if you're given room 418.

The staff mostly friendly in particular reception and maintainnce who we had to call uoon and change rooms as ours had a broken lick on window not sedure. Our room was freezing, infact the hotel was cold. The restaurant had a small heater. I understand we have just come out of lockdown but l think the hotel should be getter prepared for guests

Hot water in both taps
In the bathroom, the sink and bath didn't have any cold water, both taps had scalding hot water and we were unable to have a shower or wash our teeth as the water temperature was that of a boiled kettle.

Business Trip To Gatwick Area
The weather was not too good, however, after along drive the hotel was a welcome restover, it was inviting clean and warm, although lacking lots of people usually staying in hotels , all due to Covid 19 lockdown. If you have to stay away from home in these times, this would be a place you could recommend and want to stay again.

Easy check in and easy parking - no walking miles! Peter ( receptionist) was lovely and very informative. The room was fresh and clean - I loved the little touches , such as dressing gowns, slippers and water. A fab night's sleep too!
