The Space:

This 5th-floor studio condo at the Grand Lodge sits at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, under a 5-minute walk from the Red Lady Express lift. It sleeps 4: a king bed in a separate sleeping nook that closes off with doors, plus a queen sofa bed in the living area — more privacy than a typical open studio.



The living area has a couch, dining for two, a TV with cable, and up-valley mountain views. The kitchenette includes a one-burner stove, dishwasher, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and basic cookware and dishes — ideal for breakfast before skiing and reheating leftovers, though not a full kitchen. The full bathroom has a tub/shower, with towels, linens, and a hair dryer provided.



Grand Lodge guests share a heated indoor/outdoor pool, large hot tub, steam room, fitness center, a lobby with a fireplace, EV charging, and a free shuttle to downtown Crested Butte. Note: there is no air conditioning — the building sits near 9,400 ft and cools naturally at night; heat is provided.

To protect your stay, you'll choose one of two options during online check-in: a $150 refundable security deposit (a temporary card hold, released after checkout) or a small damage waiver ($5/night, max $40).



Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the studio plus all shared Grand Lodge amenities: the heated indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, steam room, fitness center, lobby fireplace, and EV charging. One parking pass per unit is included for the outdoor lot, and the free town shuttle stops just outside. Check-in is self-service — you'll receive full arrival details before your stay.



Please note: the pool, hot tub, steam room, and gym are operated by the building's management company and can occasionally close without notice. Refunds aren't available for closures outside our control.



The Neighborhood:

The Grand Lodge sits in Mt. Crested Butte at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The Red Lady Express lift, ski school, rentals, shops, and restaurants are a short walk from the building. A free shuttle runs every 15 minutes to historic downtown Crested Butte, about 10 minutes away, where you'll find Elk Avenue's restaurants, breweries, galleries, and shops. In summer, Crested Butte is the wildflower capital of Colorado, with lift-served mountain biking, hiking trails, and fishing nearby. Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about 40 minutes south, and the town of Gunnison — the nearest full-service hub — is roughly 30 minutes away.



Getting Around:

Most guests park once and walk. The Red Lady Express base is under a 5-minute walk. The free Mountain Express shuttle stops steps from the Grand Lodge and runs every 15 minutes between Mt. Crested Butte and downtown — no car needed for dinner or shopping. One parking pass per unit is included for the outdoor lot, and EV charging is available on site. Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about 40 minutes away; the town of Gunnison is about 30 minutes.

We're a local team and reachable by message anytime during your stay — quick responses and honest advice on lifts, trails, and where to eat. Check-in is self-service with a keypad/lockbox, and we'll send full arrival details before you arrive. We don't live on site, so you'll have the place to yourselves, but we're a text away if anything comes up.
