  • Den Axtel komplexa platsen blir inte bättre beläget vid basen av Silver Queen lift på Mount Crested Butte. Njut av ytterligare bekvämligheter som gratis wifi och utomhus gemensamt badtunna för att observera basområdet aktivitet. Parkering för 1 på plats, överfyllning parkering tillgänglig för ytterligare 1 fordon om det behövs.

    Ett unikt två sovrum i Axtelbyggnaden med bra tillgång till Resort-backarna och spårningssystemen. Ingången är belägen på parkeringsplatsen, på fjärde våningen med skid- och cykelkåpsförvaring på bottenvåningen, sluttningssidan. När du kommer in kommer du att gå in i vardagsrummet med en vedeldad spis (vi föredrar duralogs) och platt-TV precis ovanför. Ytterligare sittplatser för 5 finns på den inbyggda granit matsalen med utsikt över köket. Njut av det fullt utrustade köket, utrustat med allt du behöver laga mat. Gäst sovrum med queen size-säng och dubbla våningssäng ligger på entréplanet. Stackad tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns också i sovrummets garderob. Att flytta upp den öppna trappan som omger vardagsrummet, hittar du ett bonusloft vardagsrum med soffa (soffa) och stol och platt-TV. Utanför loftet är ingången till kung sovrummet. Komplett med läshög och platt-TV för vilken som passar ditt humör. Designer master badrum med djupt badkar och anpassade kakel arbete hela tiden. Observera, denna lägenhet kräver ganska många trappor men platsen är oöverträffad. Parkering för 1 på plats, överfyllning parkering tillgänglig för ytterligare 1 fordon om det behövs.

    FREE Mountain Express Shuttle kör året runt för transport till och från staden Crested Butte och omgivande områden. Axtel ligger inom nära gångavstånd från huvudgatan. Sommar schema körs var 20: e minut vinterplan körs var 15: e minut; axelsäsonger var 40: e minut.

Can’t get much closer to the lifts

Our family of 4 had a great time staying at this condo! It is well situated and couldn’t be much closer to the ski lifts! I’d stay here again for sure.

Perfect ski in and out location

Convenient location to ski in and out. It is on the 4th floor with stairs only. But the location is worth it to ski.

Great Location!

Can’t get any better than directly behind the Silver Queen lift. Place was as-described and in photos. Communication for check-in and during visit was great. Only thing that might be an issue for some is that it’s on the 4th floor from parking lot and no elevator. Third floor from mountain side.

Can’t beat the location

We had a great stay - can’t beat the location. As other reviewers have commented it is a 4th floor unit and the climb up and down is no joke but once we were settled in this wasn’t a big deal. Loved being slope side, the unit had all the basics we needed. Would definitely book again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Compact condo- use of space was impressive. Well appointed, bright and clean. Appreciated extra fans, blankets and W/D. Might not be ideal for people who are challenged by stairs. On 4th level w/o an elevator. One bedroom on the first floor with second bedroom and sitting area on the second floor.

Great 2 bedroom close to lifts. 4th floor walk-up

Great stay with 2 bedrooms and loft area with foldout couch. Worked perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of towels in bathrooms. A larger skillet and hotpads would have been handy when trying to cook dinner for family, but otherwise everything was great.

Wonderful Location

Beautiful location. Fun stuff - scenic chair lift, restaurants, bars and music is all right there. Be aware there are 4 flights of stairs to get there. With two bathrooms another hair dryer would be an added convenience.

Pleasant

Steps to the 4th floor were brutal. This was noted in several reviews of the property so mea culpa. As also noted, air handler from building next door was loud. Unit was well-appointed and clean. Pleasant . Appliances were nice. Beds comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Could use a new skillet. Enjoyed stay. .plplace to stay.

Nice stay at base of Crested Butte

Nice place. We enjoyed having a sitting area to watch TV. Wish there was more of a dining space. The balcony was nice for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. Location was good since there was a shuttle into town. Wish there had been more details and information provided on where the shuttle stop was and how often it ran. We googled it and found the information we needed. But thought that was something the host could’ve provided. Kitchen was decently stocked. But I wouldn’t plan on cooking anything extravagant. Good for basics. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very long climb up 70 steps to the 4th floor. No disabled parking spot that we needed. We could not make it up stairs with cooler and suitcases. Overlooks hotel next door large vent system that was noisy. Onerous check in, have to drive to another spot to get check in packet. Not our best stay.

Nice place, great location, but SO MANY STAIRS

This is a nice place to stay in a great location as it's right at the base of the ski mountain. That said, it's located on the 4th floor with NO elevator. Beautiful views up there, but we have a two-year-old who can't climb those stairs on his own. Taking him up and down everyday was quite the task. My husband and I had to take turns loading our stuff in as we couldn't leave him alone in the property or in the car. Phew! The view from the patio is gorgeous, but the property next door has a loud exhaust fan blowing 24/7 which can get pretty loud. If you don't mind the noise, it's a nice view! An extra fan in the upstairs bedroom in the summertime would be helpful as it was pretty warm up there. Overall, this is a great location and pretty nice inside once you get settled. That said, probably not ideal for people with small children or older folks.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was older but clean and comfortable. The beds and linens were comfortable and the kitchen pretty well stocked for our needs. Mostly breakfast and evening snacks and drinks. There wasn't any hot water in the Master bathroom upstairs, but after sleuthing around in a storage cubby above the loft, I found a valve on the hot water tank that had to be turned on. Problem solved. The condo is on the 4th floor so it felt like we were climbing the mountain every time we went in from the parking lot. Additionally, the master bedrooms was ANOTHER flight of steps up inside the condo. Quite a workout for us 60+ year old sea level dwellers, but we came to Crested Butte to hike, so it wasn't too bad. Just be aware of that before booking this unit. The condo building is located right at the base of 2 lifts but faced the parking lot not the ski slope. The view over the parking lot to the mountains was beautiful when their tops caught the first morning sunlight. Would have been nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view with a cup of coffee, but the building next door in the parking lot had a huge loud exhaust fan blowing 24/7. Opening the sliding glass door to sit on the balcony was a no go. We stayed during good (warmer) weather. Upstairs bedroom was hot (no AC) so we had to open the windows and listen to the fan from next door all night. A VERY loud white noise generator.Overall the condo served our purpose of a clean comfortable place to stay for 3 nights while we hiked some of the local trails.

Nice condo, convenient location

Nice condo at the base of the CB resort. Convenient to all mountain activities and two town shuttle bus stops. Definitely personal preference, but we did not find the master king bed very comfortable. Fortunately, the queen bed in the room with the bunks was much better and was where we slept.
