Grazioso B&B A due passi dal centro.
Mi sono trovato molto bene. Era quello che cercavo, un posto tranquillo vicino al centro. È anche vicino allo stadio e soprattutto ad un centro medico. Il proprietario gentilissimo, disponibile e professionale.

Affordable, with helpful owners
Needed an affordable place in this part of Crotone – Il Tulipano looked ideal. Single room, shared bathroom, extremely cheap. Arrived after dark, phoned the owners as reception isn't manned, they kindly drove out to pick me up. B&B is close-ish to the station but tucked away and hard to find, certainly for the first time at night – it's opposite the entrance of the Marrelli Hospital of Radiology & Radiotherapy, marked on maps. After taking the trouble to drive out and pick me up, the owner strangely sullen on the short drive to the property. Same for the check-in process, done entirely in Italian, slightly complex (and vital, it's unmanned at night) arrangement for the four keys explained with tricky words even an intermediate speaker wouldn't understand – they're not used to having foreigners here. Once you're given the keys, you're on your own. Room slightly bare but perfectly adequate. Shared bathroom extremely comfortable. WiFi didn't work. Before leaving that night, owner insisted I drop off the keys and check out at 11am the next day, even though it said noon on the booking – curtailed my morning research work in Crotone considerably. It's a 15min walk from town, 25min from the seafront. Owner then kindly drove me the shortish distance to the town centre, again sullen, and again sullen when I rushed like a maniac to get back for 11am. Would certainly recommend, in terms of price and location, but make sure you know where you're going, and make sure you speak Italian.

Nicht zu emfehlendes B&B in Crotone
Schwer zu finden. Bei der Adresse ist nichts über das B&B vorhanden. Mussten 30 Minuten warten, bis jemand vorbeikam. Die Betten sind schmal, das Bad auf einem anderen Stockwerk und nicht privat, kein Balkon, sauber und günstig. Die Lage ist schlecht. Bis Stadtmitte sind es 3 km. Das Frühstück ist nicht erwähnungswert. Am Morgen ist niemand vorhanden, auch nicht bei der Abreise.

Nettes Reihenmittelhaus als B&B umfunktioniert.
Das B&B ist ein Reihenhaus umfunktioniert. Es ist wirklich hübsch innen und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist gut Die Möbel nicht die schönsten aber das ist Ansichtssache. Ansonsten Typisch Süditalien Frühstück immer Süß und ausreichend. Gute Küchenausstattung. Der Wirt war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ums B&B war eher erschreckend was in Crotone allerdings ausserhalb des Stadtkerns auch relativ normal ist. Preis Leistung aber gut für mitte August.

Consigliato per la sua posizione centrale, dalla quale è possibile raggiungere i punti principali di Crotone. il sig Francesco proprietario del B&B davvero gentilissimo e cordiale sono arrivato alle 23:30 presso la stazione romano, dove si è offerto visto l'ora di arrivo a venirmi a prendere in auto propria. pulizia e tranquillità che nel b&b regna. colazione ricca e abbondante di ogni genere di cose, camera pulitissima e bagno molto grande e ben organizzato da consigliare sia per passare attimi di vero relax che anche per persone che viaggiano per lavoro, molto economico. da consigliare ci tornerò sicuramente by Vittorio Stefanizzi
