“We took our dog to get away from fireworks and this was the perfect place in the mountains. Walk to river to tube or wade. Two wonderful state parks nearby. Lots of hiking trails nearby as well and River House is a wonderful base for numerous outdoor activities. Just a wonderful place to relax. A five star place. Breakfast was wonderful and while we did not eat dinner. food smelled delicious. Nice small bar to get a great cocktail.”

“The cabin was cozy, warm and welcoming! We rented both sides for an extended family stay which worked out well, having two kitchens and slightly separated sleeping spaces. But for those renting one side, it would work out just as well. The family room is located on the lowest level of each cabin but works out just as well.
