  • We have opened up the Bunkhouse next to out Ranch house for guests that want a comfortable and relaxing get away from the city life or an exciting adventure out of their norm. We are family owned and operated Horse Ranch. We're still building as we go and improving every day to become a place where we can entertain, educate and rehabilitate folks from all over. We have big plans for our little slice of heaven and while you are here you can get involved with our day to day living or watch from the porch or in the hot tub. Our welcoming committee is a very friendly group of dogs that bark to let us know you are here and meet you at your door for petting and a sweet hello. The horses are everywhere and just as curious and loving as the dogs here...just a tad bigger. You can stay to yourself and explore the Ranch or mix n mingle with us as we come n go during the day. The Bunkhouse is comfy and has several personal touches to make it magical for young or older folks. You get to experience what it's like to live on a Ranch/ Horse Farm in the hills of KY while staying a stones throw from Mammoth cave national park. And we have a hot tub with a beautiful view to boot!
    Special Buckaroo camp in July 24-28th for kids 9-15 yrs old accompanied by an adult. multiple siblings can be accompanied by one adult. 10 spaces available $500.00 per child, adult free . The bunkhouse was incredibly clean and tidy, we all had an amazing stay and even ended up booking and extra night! The horses were fun to watch and next time we will definitely try and go out on a trail ride. Highly recommend, host was lovely and welcoming and we felt at home here so much so that it was really hard to leave!

We loved staying here! It was clean, spacious, and such a relaxing, beautiful location. Our girls loved the friendly dog and horses. The host was very helpful and great at communicating. We’d love to come back in the fall sometime!

Truly an amazing stay. Check-in was super easy. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and condiments to make for a wonderful stay. Lots of areas to sleep and rest and relax. And the scenery, the horses, and the host were incredible. We can't wait to come back and visit. Anyone who is ready for just a little slice of heaven in the country I highly suggest this stay.

We had one of the best stays we have ever had at the Dragonfly Ranch! The whole family had such a great time! Kids won’t stop talking about the trip. The Bunkhouse had everything we needed and felt just like home. We really appreciated and enjoyed the antiques but everything was kid friendly so I didn’t have to worry. So clean! The host was not only responsive but hospitable. We really enjoyed the horses and puppies. We appreciate the ranch’s mission. Thank you! Can’t wait to return!

We loved the horse ranch! The property is so cool, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The kids loved fishing and hiking the property, and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep! The house is old, and so cool! This is a unique place to stay over. And we loved it. The hot tub wasn’t functional, as it wasn’t heated, but we didn’t mind not having it! The AC kept the house comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked, as was the bathroom! We highly recommend.

Unfortunately, the hot tub was broken and we didn't know that until we arrived. Tonya stayed in constant communication with me about it and tried to fix it, but we were disappointed that we couldn't use it, as that was one of the main reasons we picked this property.However, Tonya was an excellent host, and the place was beautiful and spacious with plenty of games to keep us occupied. If you want a quiet place to get away from it all with plenty of outdoor views, this is your next stay!

Host was very welcoming! Amenities were outstanding. We thought we were going to visit the cave, but after being introduced to the horses and enjoying her generous hospitality. We never made it to the cave!

AMAZING!!

We absolutely loved our time here. Our only regret is that we hadn’t booked longer! Breathtaking views while still being close to so many things to do and see.
