“The B&B was amazing We stayed in the annexe which was like home from home Extremely well equipped and furnished to a very very high standard with everything and more than you could hope for The breakfast was very tasty 5 stars and more for the Hill If you are visiting the high force waterfalls like we did I would highly encourage and recommend that you stay at the Hill B&B ”

“Room was fine, tea and coffee wasn't very nice and no complementary biscuits. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. States Brompton however 8 miles away. Bed was really uncomfortable. Evening meal was nice, 10% surcharge on you bill! Wine expenses! Breakfast was so so. Waited a long time for someone to come to the checkin fest on arrival and departure. Probably would try an alternative hotel ”

“We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”

“We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. “Great service and food”

“It's in a remote location which is nice if you want to get away from it all. Good value. The sat navigation took us down a very potholed road but the road on the other side was in better condition so just something to be aware of. Characterful hotel, particularly the foyer. The breakfast was ok, very filling. Service was a bit chaotic with no plates when we arrived so had to wait. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff were welcoming. The games room has seen better days. ”
