“I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room was lovely, ver quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. I did use the spa which was at extra cost but it was lovely and relaxing. I opted for the fine dining in the evening and it was outstanding. Breakfast was included and the menu had plenty of options from continental to freshly prepared hot options.The staff were very helpful and friendly- I will certainly rebut for a longer visit. ”

“Great stay for two night break on the coast to Coast trail. Staff was friendly and helpful. Friday nights are very loud with karaoke so be prepared! Food was good, but basic pub food. Breakfast had several choices and the avocado and poached egg was especially good. There's an awesome Indian restaurant called the mango tree just a few buildings down. Laundromat behind the Black Bull hotel which was very convenient. About 6 pounds to run the washer and one or two for the dryer. There's a tourist...

“This was an immaculately clean and comfortable stay. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. ”

“Fint gammalt värdshus med trevlig personal och trevlig stämning. Verkligt lugnt läge i liten by på landet, men ändå bara 15 minuter från motorvägen. Inom en timma är man inne i nationalparkerna Lake District eller Yorkshire Dales. Ändå negativa är att hotellets restaurang är stängd på måndagar samt att sängen var i minsta laget.”

“When we first arrived at the hotel we were surprised to find out that the price did not only include breakfast, but a fabulous dinner as well! The room was super nice and fresh and it had a bathtub, which is a plus! The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was only a short walk to the lake, near to the steamers (which you have to go on!) We bought a lunch to take with us that was cheap, good and great to have with you on your day out.
