“We really enjoyed our stay in an old mansion. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, spacious and warm. We could hear the door closing in the corridor a few times but it did not disturb our sleep. Breakfast was perfect. We would recommend a stay at this hotel.”

“All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special.”

“We’ve just returned from 4 nights at Tangaer Cottage and couldn’t recommend it more! It was the perfect base for our family of four (children aged 3 and 10) and our dog. The cottage was spotless, cosy and incredibly well equipped. Thoughtful essentials included milk, butter, bread, hot chocolate, coffee pods, cooking supplies, toiletries and dishwasher tablets. There were plenty of games, DVDs, books and a children’s book station. The kids loved the swings and slide, and the fire pit for...

“An amazing place - right location near the mountains and valleys, spic, interior full of character as per the inn name, cheerful staff, good size rooms with amenities, tea and coffee with milk (not milk powder), a shower with superb spray force and priced perfectly. Whether you are a solo traveller or family, it's highly recommended if you are in Sennybridge.”

“Lovely stay in an old quaint farm house. The room was small with two single beds (not our preference but it is what was available). The private bathroom was modern and very nice. Nigel and his wife are delightful and intelligent. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. It is a bit hard to find off a high speed road but relaxing and quiet once you get there. The donkeys are adorable! We would highly recommend a stay there.”
