O darn! Sorry about AC, but hope the fireworks 4th show in the back yard helped enhance the trip. Having houses to offer a switch to, on a sudden ac outage, and being every thing we advertised has us wishing for 5 stars. We are not a luxury hotel, if that is the criteria. We call ourselves “Water Front Rentals Lake Lewisville” if anybody wants to look us up & visit.

This is not the house that Brianna stayed in. However, We have 6 guest houses on this waterfront and she stayed in a different place. We did just find a broken drain line from the kitchen/shower from the house she was in and repaired it easily. It was not septic. We live next door and can take care of issues quickly if reported. It is nice if guests report things to us, so we can fix immediately vs finding out on a review. Even though we are 2 doors down, we try not to encroach privacy, but still fix anything quickly. We keep our waterfront nice. To kayak to areas over by the creeks where there is zero maintenance and complain of trash there, is a little unfair to us. Most people are excited about kayaking to the Wakeboard Park & restaurants across the cove, or the wildlife in the shallows and creeks east of us. Some even enjoy hiking in the trails of the forest to our south. Most are excited to be at the lake right down the street from the city, but yes, what comes with that is you can go find trash. And There is a house being remodeled across the street that will serve as another guest house, but I pick up trash myself. We are an old neighborhood, here long before the city. A few houses on the way to the water are rough, but the people are very nice and its a safe, beautiful place.

Yes, our old neighborhood has some eyesores and our places here are not luxury resorts either. They are what we advertise. The neighborhood was here long before the brand new City thats within 5 minutes. Its still a safe, friendly, fun place. We hope that doesn’t stop people from having a “5” rated good time.
