Paid for a 2 queen room and signed in with the mobile app. Picked up our keys around 930 pm, went to the room only to discover only one bed. Spoke to the gentleman at the front desk and he informed me that the manager who was on duty earlier in the day took it upon herself to switch us to a 1 king room without notifying us of course. So there was that. Horrible sleep but hey stuff happens. Got up in the morning to shower and get ready for the day - black mold in the shower. And not just in a random crack, this was an infestation. At that point I felt I had to ask for some kind of accommodation to be made. Three hours of sleep and no shower? I was advised that the manager, Maya, was the only person who could make any decisions regarding credits, etc but that she wouldn’t be in for another couple hours. Needless to say, we were ready to leave so I left my information so she could call or text me as soon as she arrived, which was supposed to be at 1030am. 1130 rolls around and still crickets. I finally texted the number I used for check in, and she finally responds. She initially offered FREE PARKING!! And this was after I sent her the photos of the mold. Yeah. I wasn’t pleased. It was only after I explained my plan to post reviews to multiple sites that she offered 50% off the stay, which would still have to be done via expedia. Just couldn’t make it easy. Maya was not easy to deal with and really wasn’t interested in making this right. Do better with your management choices BW
