Vår Cabin ligger 7 miles från Vermont Summer Festival.
Vi kommer att erbjuda rimliga rabatter för VSF mer än 5 dagar.
Vi har varit värd för de senaste 7 åren och som du kan se från våra recensioner är vi 5-stjärniga.
Vi har en vacker charmig timmerstuga strax utanför Green Mountain National Forest. Detta är en fantastisk utomhus semester eller en snabb komma bort. Vandringsleder, badhål och de vackra gröna bergen. Ridning bara upp vägen, och Emerald Lake. Nytt trädhus med repstege och filmnatt för barnen. Utomhus har vi en underbar veranda att sitta på med
hemlagad gungstolar. Vacker eldpit att sitta och steka
din marshmallows eller din favoritdryck.
Stugan har 2 sovrum med nedre sovrummet med en full upp trappan sovrummet har en full och en singel. Vardagsrum Kök combo och badrum. Köket är fullt laddat med krukor, pannor alla bestick och tallrikar, brödrost, mikrovågsugnkonvektioner och Kreug kaffebryggare med en stor mängd gröna mtn-kaffe på huset. Vardagsrummet har kabel-TV och obegränsat Wi-Fi. Vi har fått veta att det är en gammal tidstuga med alla moderna bekvämligheter. Vi har en bra firepit utanför gas BBQ med all tillförsel av trä och gas.

Pet avgift är 35,00 för 1 husdjur, 2 husdjur 50,00 för din vistelse.

Very nice, clean and quiet cabin. A little smaller than expected, but that wasn't anything to downgrade the stay. Lori was great to work with and my daughter loved the swing outside. Patio area was nice and comfortable. Had everything we needed for the stay.

Lovely Town and Hosts

The owners of this cabin were absolutely delightful to chat with and gave us great advice about places to hike and places to get breakfast and dinner. The cabin is tiny, but we understood that going in. It contained everything we needed and the hosts even supplied snacks, coffee, and half and half. We are a 50’s couple with one dog and it suited us perfectly. Recommendations to others traveling to Danby:White Birch Bakery for coffee and breakfast sandwiches and pastries - delicious and friendly staffWhite Rocks recreation area- park just before the iron bridge and walk down to the water, you won’t regret it Manchester for the dining and one of the best bookstores we’ve ever visited and we LOVE bookstoresLittle Rock Pond-the hike is easy and well worth the time, don’t skip the loop around the pondDorset Farmer’s Market-Sunday mornings at the general store, yum

Spectacular Beauty, Singular Hospitality

The cabin is larger than I expected; it is essentially a small house, and proved supremely comfortable. Vermont gets *cold* in the winter, but we always felt cozy inside. The decor, while simple, is tasteful and evokes a Longfellowian image of a comfortable country retreat. Shower and bath is *hot* and revitalizing. We hiked up the Appalachian trail and supplied our necessities at the Country Store, both within easy walking distance. Difficult hike in snowy and icy conditions, but well worth it for the views alone. Probably the most beautiful winter visage I’ve ever seen. What truly made the trip unforgettable was the singular hospitality and amiability of the hosts, however. Not even in Japan does one get that level of generosity, warmth, and Samaritan spirit. The blueberry muffins in particular, especially after 13 hours of hiking, were delicious. The hostess was even so kind as to give us a ride back to the airport. One will be coming again — though perhaps in warmer times!

Cozy Cabin!

Cozy cabin in beautiful Mt. Tabor. We were a family of 3 with two dogs. Space was a little tight for us with the two dogs, but is perfect for 3-4 people. Outdoor space nice as well. Location was convenient to Manchester and Rutland areas and close to great hiking trails. Owners live on the property and are very friendly and accommodating. Great experience overall!

Fall Break

We had a wonderful stay over a long weekend during Fall Break! Communication was great and the cabin was the perfect size for our family of 3, plenty of room and everything we needed to feel right at home for 3 days. The owners were amazing with some great recommendations for local hikes, they showed our son around the property which included an amazing treehouse, and even had fresh blueberry muffins for our last day! Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay here. The cabin is adorable & perfect size for 2 adults & our dog. The property is gorgeous & plenty of space to walk our dog & even let her run off leash in a few areas. The host was full of information & if you tell her what you’re interested in doing, she will suggest many places to go. We really appreciated that & went to many of her suggestions. We were looking for a VERY relaxing weekend & that is exactly what we got. The Cabin is stocked with all cooking equipment, there is no oven but there is a grill & stove top cooking. They had DVD’s that you could watch & many board games you could play. We will definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone traveling in that area.

Amazimg family getaway in a Charmimg cottage

Lori and Terry were amazing hosts. Not only was the cottage perfect for my family of 4, it was clean and comfortable. Lori and Terri are very thoughtful and kind hosts. Wonderful stay!

The owners are charming and thoughtful! Made us feel like home on their 2 acre property. We stayed 2 nights and regretted not staying longer. The cabin is cozy, charming, romantic and very clean. Well stocked kitchen (plates, bowls, utensils...), plenty of towels and pillows, and firewood. Only 20 minutes from Manchester, and 1.5h from Lake George. We absolutely loved it and are planning on coming back for sure. The only thing that we liked less is the fact that it's right by a highway. But is you don't mind hearing a few cars zooming by every couple of minutes, it won't bother you.

Wonderful experience

What an incredible place. Super clean, pleasant and charming. The owners are lovely people, very friendly and attentive. I can't fail to mention the delicious muffins. My 3-year-old daughter loved the tree house and the playground. We had a great experience and it's a place we want to return to in the future.
