“I rented a private room for myself. This meant I had four bunk beds and an en-suite to myself for £40. It was very clean and actually quite quiet and the check-in was super easy and friendly. A much better deal than similarly priced hotels I think. Thanks!”

“This room was the smallest I've ever had. Nowhere to put stuff. The walls are paper thin, there was a glass window to the hall. Every time someone passed outside, the room was completely lit up, making it difficult to sleep. At the same time, you could hear every word spoken, not just by passing guests, but from people in other rooms too. The breakfast is self service. I went to Starbucks instead. The towels were soaked in some kind of chemical so they smelled awful. I could live with all...
