“I have been coming to Middleton for over 20 years and I am still in love with its serenity and charm. The only negative I could say is that the free breakfast while it has a lot of options needs a little TLC to make it enjoyable. The Inn and the grounds are a peaceful oasis and much needed break from all of life’s hustle and bustle.”

“Location of the hotel is great and right on the beach. However if you are looking for a good nights sleep don’t book this hotel. The walls are as thin as paper and if your neighbor is having a normal conversation it is like they are in your room, you even hear if they are watching tv. Roomservice starts knocking on the door at 8 in the morning and since it is so noisy all the rooms hear it. ”

“We absolutely loved our stay. The room overlooked the pool and creek. It was gorgeous at night with all the lights. Our room was clean and beautiful and everyone that worked there (that we spoke to) were super friendly and helpful. Would most definitely recommend!!”

“Booked a room for 2 adults and one 14 year old child. On arrival we were checked in to a room with only one queen bed, no extra bed or anything. When I said that was not what we had booked I was told I would have to upgrade to get a room with 2 beds. I said that was not acceptable and demanded a room for 3 people. The person at the front desk said ok and gave me new keycards. Only later did I discover that they had charged the upgrade to my card anyway. ”

“Loved how quiet the rooms were. Staff (except for the guy working the morning of 7/7) were unengaged and unhelpful. Placed used towels outside the room and caught the attention of the housekeeping person working our floor, asked for replacements, and never got them. Reported a truck with no handicap plate or placard parked in a handicap spot, and the person at the desk simply walked away.
