Comfy & Cozy
The property is very comfortable, clean, and cozy! We very much enjoyed our stay while we ventured about the many places to see in the area. Wish it would have been a little warmer outside, so we could have enjoyed the screened in porch. The property has everything you need and then some. Owners are very nice and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent and so peacefully quiet!
We were in town for my nieces wedding and the weather was a beautiful monster. It was so quiet, relaxing, and warm at the house, We enjoyed the time we spent there and if weather would’ve permitted it’s a beautiful location to be outside. Communication was top notch. More than we needed in amenities but so thankful for safety bars in shower and bathroom for my Dad with Parkinson’s. Definitely a place I’d stay again minus the snow storm. So nice when you have to stay somewhere and everything is as it’s advertised. Weddings and bad weather can be stressful but that fireplace melts all your worries away. House is beautiful and well priced. Thank you so much for a cozy place to lay our heads!

Awesome
The home was beautiful! Other than the water in the master suite never getting more than just warm, we couldn't ask for better. Everything you would expect and then some. The pre pasted toothbrushes were a blessing as we forgot our toothpaste, thank you so much for those. Definitely going to book here every time we travel to our family in NC. Already recommended it to others. Much love! XOXOX 😘

Best home base for visiting New River Gorge National Park
Beautiful home with all the amenities you need for a relaxing vacation. This home base allowed us to explore Grandview New River Gorge National Park and Mabry Mill. The hostess was quick to communicate and answer any questions. I highly recommend this home for your next visit to beautiful Grandview, WV

Was pleasantly surprised with the layout and size of the home. It is definitely older in some respects...and the owners do let you know that. We didn't get to spend too much time other than to sleep and shower...but did have a few moments out on the screened porch in the AM to read and chat...

Relaxing and beautiful property
We visited the area to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The house was just perfect. We enjoyed sitting on the screened patio with a cup of coffee in the mornings and glass of wine in the evenings. The house was spacious and impeccably clean. Three spots we enjoyed were The Dish Cafe, the Tunnel Trail at New River Gorge NP, and the Exhibition Coal Mine Museum. Excellent stay!

Our family of 5 from Buffalo stayed here for 1 night on our way to Hilton Head. It was perfect! The house was super clean, stocked with what we needed and overall a great stay. It’s clear the owners take great care of this property and are very welcoming of guests!

Great location great home
This home was perfect for our needs. We had 5 adults attending our grand baby’s 1st birthday. The location was perfect for us close to Grandview park and my daughter’s home. Great place to relax. Highly recommend.

Great home near incredible outdoor activities
My wife and I stayed over here on a road trip to squeeze in some hiking, and really loved it! This part of WV is beautiful, and with so many parks, trails, and hiking options, we want to go back! The hosts and house were lovely, it is immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, etc.. If you are looking for a house to rent in the area, get this oen if it is available.

Enjoyed our stay
Clean spacious house in quiet neighborhood. Good location for all the major attractions to the National Park .Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Even had a deer come visit the neighbor's bird feeder. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay!
This place was amazingly large. It was only my wife and I and our dog so it was much more space than needed but it was so nice to have all the room(s). Close to a few state parks which we visited. Definitely go to Grandview. Some restaurants a short drive away. Make certain to visit Dish Cafe. Overall great stay.

Lovely home convenient to New River Gorge NP
This is a very clean and well-appointed home near the New River Gorge NP. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of five plus a dog. The location is convenient to grocery stores and restaurants as well as a lovely state park down the road. If we ever return to the area we will definitely stay here again!

Weekend stay
Our stay was a long weekend that ended up being rainy and overcast. The home was very comfortable which was good because we basically stayed there for most of the stay. The beds varied, with master bed having a very soft pad on top and the other two beds having a more firm feel to them but all comfortable. Didn’t get to utilize the outdoor space but it looked pretty. Would suggest stocking up on some puzzles or games for guests to use on weekends such as ours.

Almost Heaven West Virginia! We will return . . .
Almost Heaven. Odor-free, and we brought our 3 standard poodles. Easy access to good restaurants (The Dish and Casablanca) -- we met my sister and niece (halfway - from Ohio and we drove from Wilmington, NC) for Easter. One minor note -- the master bathroom shower runs *barely* lukewarm water. It was a 42 degree cold/rain, and we needed hot showers (even after a day of skiing, if we visit in the winter, I need a HOT shower). The middle bathroom was slightly better. Hopefully it is *fixed* *hot* the next time we stay, or stay in the summertime when it isn't needed as much! Besides that, great place. Three of us had to work remotely for part of the day, and we never lost access even in a stormy rainy day! Home away from home for sure!!

Magical Time
Very warm and welcoming from stepping inside. Everything has been thought through. I was grateful there are no TVs in the bedrooms as we came to spend time with cousins that live in Virginia and we live in Indiana. There is plenty of room to play games, eat, play outside---definitely would stay again!!

Wonderful Stay
My mom, sister, and I had a wonderful stay at this property. Location was perfect for exploring the New River Gorge area. There is also a state park just a minute down the road where we were able to start and end our day with a walk around the beautiful lake there.

Comfy, Convenient and Quiet
This nice brick ranch was perfect for our visit to New River Gorge National Park. The house was conveniently situated for us. It was immaculate and equipped with just about anything you might need. Best of all, the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. There is also a pretty patio garden with a water feature to enjoy after a day of sightseeing or hiking. We highly recommend this home away from home!

One of the best VRBOs
My wife and I recently stayed here on a three week swing through West Virginia. We have stayed at several VRBOs in the past and rate this as top 3 or so. Very clean and spacious. Loved the screened in porch at the back of the house as well. Good location overall. Met the homeowner twice and he was a pleasant gentleman to interact with. The bed was nice and comfortable as well. If ever in the area again, I would not consider looking any place else if this house were available. A very pleasant stay for us.

Perfect group/family home
We stayed here for 1 night after hiking at the National Park and it was perfect for our group! Very Clean and open! The screen in porch was perfect to sit and relax, many bathrooms and bedrooms which is always helpful with multiple couples! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again if we are in the area!

Nice stay
We stayed here as a stop over on a road trip. It was a pleasant surprise! What a warm and comforting home after a long day on the road. I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBOs and it really had everything anyone could ask. Safe pleasant neighborhood, nicely kept yard, clean and spacious inside. We liked the big updated kitchen and especially the screened in back porch. The beds were clean and comfortable for the most part. The only thing I would do, just to knit pick, would be to update the bedding - perhaps new sheets, pillows and bedspreads. Otherwise, a great place to stay. I would definetely stay again.

Beautiful!
This house is absolutely adorable. The 4 of us (all senior citizens) loved this house. It is located in great spot for sightseeing in the area. The master bedroom could use a larger bed. Overwise, the house is perfect.

Awesome West Virginia Vacation!!
This was one of the nicest homes n centrally located to various towns n attractions that we have ever stayed in, in the last 10 yrs of travel. Pet friendly, immaculately clean and stocked w/everything imaginable. Just over the top accommodations!! We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends. Our dog even loved it as she saw her 1st chipmunk in the lovely big backyard. My husband had fun trying to catch site n photo the deer n fawn in the early morning as they passed through the backyard. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.
