“We’ve been staying at Grant Hills for years. The rooms aren’t fancy, though are very clean and comfortable. We like the option to bring our pups with if we choose. The cost of a two night stay is many times less than one night in other Galena hotels. It’s always very quiet and there is a walking path not far away. ”

“The room and the entire hotel was clean and comfortable. The gym (handful of cardio machines and a resistance weight-training machine) and pool are both small, but given we went during the off-season, we always had it to ourselves. Free breakfast was good.”

“The room was great, but the pool was soso. And the pools mechanical broke down during our stay, which ruined our child’s mini vaca. Then we were woken very abruptly and way too early in the morning by a smoke alarm. Not a very good impression. ”

We found old food in the fridge and the bedsheets was not clean (found hair) in one of our rooms. They did not clean the gym for the full 5 days we were there either. However, the hotel receptionists made our beds and changed the towels daily.”

“The room was clean, and the staff were super friendly. Nobody was using the pool or the hot tub. It was nice to be the only one to use it during spring break; however, if you don't know much about Platteville. There aren't many things to do. Suppose you are not visiting someone in Platteville. Dubuque, Iowa, is 30 minutes away. There are a lot more things to do there. ”
