Amazing right to the beach

We stayed here in the off-season and it was amazing, directly out the door to the beach and it felt almost like our own private island. We loved it!

The location and beach access was fantastic! And the addition of the golf cart was great for getting around the island. Everything was neat on arrival. I do wish I had known it was a duplex as we had loud neighbors up late on our final 2 nights and we could clearly hear their music & words. I also would love to have access to basic kitchen staples (salt, pepper, olive oil or spray) to make cooking an option - with no grocery store on the island we couldn't buy them there and I didn't consider packing a salt & pepper shaker.

R & R

1st came to Daufuskie 25 yrs ago and it's still just as magical...the smells, the feels, the people, the food...we love it all. Thx for such a relaxing place to stay!

We were surprised of how rundown the area appeared to be. The cottage next-door to us was boarded up and abandoned with the overgrown weeds, as for several properties nearby. I killed four roaches in the property while I was there. The golf cart that came with the unit did not work, but management was very prompt in replacing it. The unit itself had a great deal deferred maintenance. For the amount charge, we were disappointed with quality of the property.
