Enjoy being walking distance to shops and restaurants, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking jet skiing and a short drive to one of the 6 public beaches where you can put your feet in the sand, watch the dolphins play and catch the most amazing and colorful sunrises and sunsets! Take a stroll through the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, tour the newly updated and educational Aquarium at the Sea Lab, gain some local history knowledge at Fort Gaines or take a ferry ride to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach for the day. This unit is fully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing week in the sun! Liz was very welcoming and direction to the fish camp was clear. The bungalow was very clean and was stocked with everything I needed to be comfortable. Dauphin Island is beautiful... I grew up in Mobile and love returning here to fish. This was the perfect spot!

No issue, but the property did have a pretty strong rotten fish odor. To the point where I checked the trash bag to see if there was still fish there from the last time. This odor was not present outside. It still appeared very clean though and the owner was communicative the whole time.

Wonderful

The property was beautiful & clean. We loved being right beside the bridge, and the docks offer incredible views of the sunsets. We will definitely be renting here again. The property manager was very helpful & kept in contact with us while we were there, offering suggestions for adventures & just overall willing yo help with any questions we had.

5 star home with a wonderful host.

Lizis awesome and has your comfort as her main priority. Her furnishings, appliances and decor is straight out a southern beach magazine. The beds and bedding are so soft to let you drift off after a busy day exploring or a relaxing and playing at the beach. The community is quiet, nice pool, and private direct access to the bay. For a peaceful stay this is a wonderful property for a small group of friends or family. Liz is definitely a concierge and will make sure you have an amazing trip to the island.

Great weekend fishing trip

Retreat and Relax

This was an amazing property and location to simply retreat and relax. The island is not very commercial which I found a plus because it allowed me to experience the local flavor. The beaches at each end of the island were amazing, and being off season, I was pretty much able to wander them by myself... something I find very spiritual. The accommodation was great! Everything was clean and apportioned as expected. I especially enjoyed sitting outside on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning just saying my morning prayers.Hope to return some day in the future.

Cozy Beach Cottage

Perfect beach cottage for a couple. Liz was the perfect host from beginning to end. She gave detailed instructions and was always available. The cottage was clean, comfortable and fully stocked. As an added bonus, the year round residents could not have been more welcoming. We have already recommended to friends and are planning our return trip!

Beautiful property

It was a cozy comfortable space, clean and cool upon arrival which was such a welcome after a long hot day. Close to everything and very quiet, had neighbors on either side and still very quiet.
