Detta två sovrum, två badhus vid vattnet ligger precis intill Davis Ferry Service och bara några minuter från Cape Lookout. Stor tillgång till Core Banks för att njuta av stranden för sol och vågor eller fiske och jakt. Fullt möblerad med två drottningssängar och två bäddsoffor. Den privata bryggan låter dig ta med dig din båt eller utforska vattenvägarna med de två tillgängliga kajakerna. Cyklar finns tillgängliga - du kan åka på den natursköna vägen. En utomhusdusch finns också! Njut av utsikten över Core Sound från omslagets däck eller Sunroom. Golvplanen är öppen och luftig och välkomnar dig! Ingår i din vistelse på 2+ nätter är två färjeturer tur och retur på Davis Shore Ferry Service.

The name absolutely fits. We were here for 9 days and enjoyed beautiful sunrises in a very peaceful setting. The house is spacious with a welcoming feeling like you're at home. We stay in numerous different locations each year and this is by far at the top of our list. We had one minor hiccup during our stay on a Sunday evening and Laurie had someone out within an hour to remedy the problem. The only issue I have now is my wife wants to buy this home. If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation this is the place you want to be. Thank you to Laurie for sharing this amazing home with us.

We had everything we needed, everything is very nice and classy, nothing broken or not working. We were very comfortable and did not want to leave. We were here during a storm but it was still such a nice stay. The screened in deck was the BEST. Even with wind and rain we were able to sit out there and enjoy it. The screen seems to block both the wind and rain enough to enjoy it no matter the weather. It was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much, looking forward to coming back.

This was our second stay at Sound Escape. And it will not be our last! Laurie is an excellent host and easily accessible if needed. The house is very clean and comfortable and the view from the decks and porches is stunning! We traveled with another couple and the guys took the ferry over to the Core Banks two days to fish. They also caught a couple fish from the pier on the property. Shopping at Beaufort is 20 minutes away, but the neatest gift shop we found is just down the street at Davis Provision. We all have fallen in love with this area. Sound Escape is by far one of the most peaceful and cleanest places we have visited!

Another wonderful week in Davis............despite a few days of unsettled weather. This was our 3rd stay at Sound Escape. The house was excellent as usual, and we really enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Lost to see and do in and around Davis if you're willing to drive a bit. We love this place !!!

Excellent accommodations with all the amenities of a 5 star location and help when needed. The view from the sanctuary of a screened in porch is awesome! Kitchen essentials exceeded expectations and bedding / bath outstanding. This was our second stay and we will return for a third. Thank you.

Perfection and relaxation

The house is even nicer than the photos! Its open, bright, wonderfully decorated and so many special touches throughout. The hosts have literally already though of everything. It's so quiet there, at night we could see every star and several planets. The dock was great, the view could not be improved, i cant rave about our short stay enough. The PERFECT Getaway!!

First if you are considering this place just go ahead and BOOK! Don't wait, you will not be disappointed at all. The views are perfect in the morning from the sun coming up over the sound and just as perfect in the evening with the sun going down. This home has it all, there was plenty of space for everyone. The dock was perfect from just sitting in the morning enjoying the fresh air to fishing and crabbing, we caught crabs and plenty of fish to eat as well. The screened in porch was nice for diners and just relaxing in the evenings. The house was very clean as well. The kitchen is very nice and had everything you would need to create any meal. This will be our stay for future visits Down East. The host communicates very well and very quick to respond to any questions.

Another wonderful stay!

This was our second year staying at Sound Escape. It was just as wonderful this year as it was last. We love all of Laurie’s thoughtful touches, and we made use of the ferry passes. Thank you for those! We also made a lovely meal with the pasta! We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch and on the dock. Both are very relaxing. We did have to buy a skillet as the ones there were quite used, and it would be great if the light switch in the master bedroom water closet was fixed. It was like playing a game in the dark trying to get the light to stay on :-) We hope to be back again next year!
