Basic amenities were poor quality. No soap left for dishwasher- only one towel per person and we were there for a week. No washer and Dryer. Only two rolls of toilet were left. Beds were terrible - box spring in middle bedroom filthy. Very dated. Furniture old and uncomfortable. Found a tick on the floor. Posting made it seem like you are right on the beach- it is not.

Terrible stay

The house was understandably under construction, however the owner should have canceled. The property itself was a wreck, no WiFi, no cable, the house started flooding this morning, windows broken, over all we understand the hurricane damage but owner shouldn’t have guests stay until it’s livable and secure.

Wonderful time

I’m usually very nervous when I first get to rental , we’ve had some bad rentals. Pulled up and immediately breathe a sigh of relief. It was everything that was pictured. Beautiful home, good location. If we come back next year for Jeep Beach wanna see about renting this property again.

Great spot! Close to everything-Quiet Neighborhood

Spent Thanksgiving week here for a car show we attend every year. Was very clean and the check in/check out was super easy. Good communication. House is nice, yes a bit older but well kept. CVS is right next door and the beach is right across the street. Overall a fantastic stay. Thank you! Don

Daytona vacation

The house has a great lay out, only issue we had was there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper, for 6 people an one roll of paper towels, wish there was a washer and dryer since we did go to the beach a lot. There is cockroaches as well, we only saw them in the kitchen. I can’t stand roaches so we had to wash all the dishes every time before we used them. That was the worst part ! All an all it was nice besides no washer and the bugs.

Location:Perfect/Home:Dated & Dirty

The location was great, space of home was great. It's older and dated but decent. The only complaint was how very dirty it was. 24hrs to respond was not enough. Most things where noticed until day 2 or 3 due to site seeing and not being in the rental. Furnace closet door was super dirty and very visible(in hall by bathroom door), windows had so much dust come off onto hands when opening them. Floors where not swept or vacuumed. No trash bags, no dish soap, only 5 towels and 2 hand towels, no rags of any kind no kitchen towels. I never rented a home where I had to buy the less than basic items.

Vacation in hell

We checked in at 3pm on Friday, as per instructions, turned ac down to 70 from 78 degrees. At 5pm it was 84 degrees. And Refrigerator was not cooling in bottom compartment. Called maintenence # provided maintenence man informed me he would be there as soon as he finished the call he was on. At 7:30 I called him back and he said he had been trying to get an Ac tech. but no one was available. He finally made it to us at 10pm with a portable ac unit 2 fans and 2 coolers of Ice, to put food in. He said he would be in contact with main office first thing Saturday morning. Saturday we took the grandkids to the beach, but my son in law stayed there. No one showed up until after 3pm to work on refrigerator. This technician told us he also worked on ac, but when he contacted the office they told him they had a contract with someone else and they would be there Monday when the parts store opened. Another technician showed up later Saturday but still didn't get ac working. At this point the portable ac unit was cooling house down to around 84 degrees during the day and around 70 at night. Also when we took trash out there was no trash receptacles outside and trash piled up beside house. Maintenance man came Sunday afternoon with trash receptacle, but the trash piled against house more than filled it. No one showed Monday to work on ac and when we checked out Tuesday morning we still hadn't seen anyone. I texted the office several times and tried to get someone to call me, to no avail. Finally on our trip home Tuesday the office texted me that they were refunding part of our money because of our inconvenience. They refunded $150 out of the $1000 spent. Their is no way I would ever book with itrip again and will make sure that I inform anyone interested of my experience. This is not the way to treat someone trying to enjoy a family vacation.

Not bad. Air doesn’t work

Ac unit isn’t adequate for the house. It never got below 80* and the on call maintenance guy was an absolute jerk. The door in the kitchen leading to the outside has a two way keyed dead bolt without the key. Therefore we could not open that door. Very old everything. The two twin beds are not actually beds. More like futon mattress and they are not comfortable. Shower needed a good cleaning. Not a bad place but you could not be at the house during the day as it was at least 80 in the house.

Great place

left a note for cleaners that they need to step it up a notch. We paid a cleaning fee and all we got were clean sheets and towels. Rugs were very dirty.

Great Spot

Easy walk to the beach and really easy to find. The appliances are dated and no washer / dryer but that’s exactly what the listing states. The house is comfortable and we enjoyed our week!!!

Yard was full of sand spurs

I cut my feet up so bad from the yard. Place is outdated. My feet are bad and need medical attention but I have no insurance. Your yard is horrible. I got hurt bad.

The house had 3 bedrooms and let us have plenty of shared space and private space. Dine in kitchen allowed us to fix meals at home. Charcoal grill outside. The one draw back was only one bathroom (as advertised). The location is great- walking distance to the beach/CVS/ stores and restaurants.

Roaches and dirty

Very very poor property. I ha e never been in a property with live roaches running about and even alive in the paper towels Clogged sink upon arrival with standing water snd sheets were dirty Appliances that were once white are old in really bad shape and yellowish Microwave was so old I wouldn’t trust to use it We booked for 3 nights but left after first Got no assistance from VRBO with a refund even though after I booked there were re Jews about condition of property I checked before and the host assured me all was addressed and taken care of This was not accurate. Sadly if I could give it no stars I would

Loved Location - had some last day Electrical Issues

First, I would like to mention that I booked this trip through VRBO. Advice to anyone thinking about booking, make sure to download the iTrip app. I never received the door code from iTrip. The cleaning crew was there cleaning when we arrived for check in at 3:00 pm. Looking back at my email, I had a notification that the cleaning crew was running behind. This is stipulated I’m the agreement that checkin could be as late as 5:00 pm. The cleaning crew was extremely nice and helped us by contacting the property manager for the key code. We didn’t see any issues on check in. Everything was as expected. The location is wonderful! My 8 year old daughter brought a friend, so having the 2 twin sized beds was perfect! The last day, we stayed away most of the day. When we returned that evening in, we found the light in the bathroom, the hallway, the kitchen, and the outlets in those areas not working. We checked the breaker box and none were tripped. I attempted to contact the property manager about this issue, she told me the first day to if I had any issues. I first tried to text. I had no response in 30 minutes, so I tried to call, had no answer, so I left a voicemail. With it being the last evening, we had 1 shower to share with 4 people and because we were getting up early the next morning to head home. I waited a little while, and decided to look into the agreement to see if there was a different number to contact. I found one, and ended up talking to someone over maintenance. He was nice and ended up calling in an electrician who came out. Evidently, this is an ongoing issue, because the electrician who came out ended up talking to someone else who had been called out with the same issue. The GFI outlet behind the couch (we couldn’t see) needed to be reset. This took care of the issue. I’m disappointment the property manager never contacted me back. With it being an electrical issue, my inquiry should’ve been taken more seriously. Even if the property manager wasn’t the on call person or couldn’t get to me immediately, as simple call back or text letting me know something would’ve been more professional. All other parts of our visit and stay were pleasant.

Location is perfect!! You can walk to the beach and many stores, we found everything we need in the property: kitchen utensils and bathroom toiletries, items you can bring to the beach if you want too, enough towels for everybody to use. We brought personal items too, you only get 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner and 2 small bar soaps, so be prepared. personal didn't do a good job, place was very very dusty, shower door was misplaced, you could see trash under furniture from previous renters, not sure about the control remote in the living room, we found 2 but couldn't let us watched tv, only in the main bedroom we could find the tv remote and that's the only place it worked, bed mattress are old, i think they need to be replaced it's how old they felt. The house is old and needs some updates but it has charm, feels homey and can only be open with the code they give you which make you feel secure. We had a pleasant time in this location but definitely the cleaning was really bad!! So if you allergic to dust bring your allergy pills!!
