Pool 9 Guest House on Main Street, De Soto. We welcome fishermen!

Charming 2 BR, 1 Bath home with awesome view! Newer deck overlooks scenic valley with creek and bluffs. Deck has propane grill and fire table. This home sleeps 4 comfortably. Modern decor with updated bathroom and mechanicals. Room to park fishing/hunting boats on either side of the house, with outlets for chargers. Great for tournament fishermen! Doorbell camera on front door. De Soto is an UTV friendly town.
Walking distance to Pork's Hilltop Bar & .70 of a mile to the De Soto boat ramp. 1 mile to DeSoto Bay, 4 miles to Blackhawk park, 6 miles to Lansing, IA, 8 miles to Ferryville, 10 miles to Genoa. Awesome fishing and duck hunting in Pool 9 and surrounding areas.

Great place for a fishing getaway! Local restaurants were good for dinners. Plenty of room to park the boat and plug in.

Very nice property. Great location only a few blocks from the Mississippi River. We come with another couple to fish and enjoy the area. Jeff has a really nice place to clean fish we really appreciate.

Sweet little house in De Soto!

It was all we could ask for. Plenty of room to park my boat and trailer. The backyard is breathtaking. The back deck is big and superb.

Fishing the Mississippi

Second time we have stayed here, we will be back. Great accommodations. Owner is very responsive to any questions. Well equipped kitchen, wonderful back deck with great views. Neighbors are very friendly.

Bass fishing

My brother in law and I stayed here for a week and will come back. Fishing was good. Backed the boat in the driveway with the boat in the grass and charged the boat from underneath the deck or back of the house. You could park another on the other side of the house also. We cooked breakfast and dinner each day and did laundry in the basement.

Pool 9 fishing get away

Very nicely finished rental. We'll call the property "the mullet" business in the front- right on the main street. But the back deck & back yard gives a very private party feel. Watching the high school football game from the back yard was fun- I hope the home team won. I would recommend and return to this rental. Oh yes- the reason for our stay was Bass fishing the Mississippi- fishing was great too. Thanks for offering dog friendly home- our Lab's are our kids & go everywhere with us.

DeSoto Delight

The house was perfect for us. A beautiful view from the deck! A wonderful fish cleaning station in the basement! Blacktop driveway for 2 vehicles and room for a boat trailer and of course the incredible Mississippi River so close!

Fishing tournament

This was a perfect spot for my partner and I. We had easy parking for 2 trucks pulling bass boats. Great access to electricity to charge our batteries and friendly neighbors that stopped and talked to us. The house had everything thing we needed and was freshly remodeled. Tv had a great selection of things to watch, will go back.

Delightful and clean home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was a great place to be as we explored the driftless area. The house was exceptionally clean and very well organized with all the amenities of home. It lacked for nothing. Regardless if we were out exploring or staying inside on a rainy day, we were comfortable and content with this house. If we are in the area, we will definitely stay here again. Love it
