Great bayfront house

This was a perfect place to stay, a bit far from our daily destination of Assateague but worth the drive for a place to unload and I unwind and relax without worrying about disturbing anyone, and with enough space for the whole family. We took advantage of the dock for crabbing and watching the sunset. Easy to get to, well stocked, easy to use and take care of, we would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay.

The house is absolutely beautiful and the view is spectacular ! If by chance you forget to bring something with you dont worry they have it all right down to the lotion. The neighbors are great too ! Loved our stay.

Above and beyond expectations

This property was above and beyond what we expected. We ended up extending our stay one extra night to continue to fish and crab the next afternoon. 3 huge bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and had everthing we needed for the weekend. The view was beautiful every night and we cannot wait to come back again soon!

September getaway

The house was wonderful. Very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed with everything we needed. Location on the water ideal for crabbing, fishing, or just relaxing. (Make sure to have needed supplies since stores etc are not nearby but that seems to be the way with any waterfront property). We had our first experience with “costal flooding” which made it a bit more interesting. Neighbors were very nice. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Family vacation

I was a little hesitant about this Vrbo since there were no reviews but the house was exactly as described. We wanted a quiet, do nothing but relax and that is what we did. We loved the private dock and caught many crabs and a few fish. The bay breeze kept the bugs away which was an added bonus. The little beach over the bridge was great for a quick dip to cool off (although the bay was 82). We also chartered a fishing boat with a local company (art benton) who gave us a great day on the water catching tons of fish. The house was beyond equipped with everything you need!

Ideal location, wonderful view

This is a beautiful place to stay -- the peaceful view of the bay is SO relaxing, and the house is very comfortable. We did have an issue though: when I tried to email our host contact that the back doorknob was broken, there was no answer. Tried to call, but the call went straight to voicemail and the voicemail box was full. Tried to text the "Evolve" people, but got only a formulaic response. It wasn't until the next day, when I thought to make contact through VRBO, that I got a real answer from an Evolve representative. Deeply glad it wasn't a more serious problem, such as a leaking pipe!

Get Away from It All!

Four of my older women friends and I just returned from 4 wonderful days at this spacious one level home situated on the Chesapeake Bay across from Deal Island in Chance, Maryland. This well maintained and fully air conditioned house had two full baths, three bedrooms, a TV nook, and a spacious living room, and the last two rooms had comfy sofas large enough for sleeping. All bedding was spotless and extra blankets were readily available. Rooms also had ceiling fans which are one of my favorite amenities. Although there was a lovely and inviting dining room, we chose to eat either outside or around the large table in the living room.The best part of our stay was definitely our location which was literally only a few feet from the water and a sturdy dock. The lapping of the waves definitely soothed spirits and made the place a truly relaxing escape. This was a perfect setting for catching up with friends and reading.Jerry, the owner went above and beyond to provide support and rapid responses to our questions, and folks in the neighborhood readily assisted us when one of our cars refused to start. What a relief and special gift that was! Thank you, All. We look forward to returning in the future.PS Do plan to take a drive over to the town of Princess Anne for a good meal and a chance to see a lovely historic community!Also, do plan to bring your foodstuffs and-or to stop in Princess Anne at the Food Lion or Dollar City for your provisions as no shops are in walking distance of the house.
