âOur 2nd time here. Kids had a blast with the waterpark, minigolf was fun. We have stayed in both the studio and the 2 bedroom suites and glad both have private patios for when the kids go to sleep. Definately will be coming back â
âWe checked into our room on the front. The ocean was right there. The hotel had two chairs overlooking the ocean. We sat out there all evening. It was close to Parksville so if we stayed longer there would be lots to do.
A small kitchen in the room came in handy for breakfast the next day We liked the place and would go backâ
âI hadn't stayed in the Comox area before, and had always stayed over in Courtney, but this location was even better for the getting to and from the Aquatic Centre than downtown Courtney. The suite we had was everything we could ask for, and was very quiet. The Sushi Wara restaurant attached to the hotel was absolutely fabulous !!! â
âRiding Fool Hostel never disappoints. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Rooms and washrooms are clean and well stocked.
The only issue we had, given the warm seasonal temperatures, was that the rooms were uncomfortably hot at night. Fans were available however, they were not quite enough to keep the air flowing.
Maybe an unreasonable suggestion but a vent at bottom of door and top of door frame would likely assist in drawing in the air-conditioned air from the common areas....
