“The best review anyone can give is "We shall return! and soon!! but this time we shall bring family!" Kudos to Dave (and his mother) Clayton, Allie (to only mention a few) who added much enjoyment to our stay. Hopefully, we shall see all of you again at Thanksgiving.”

“The hotel is definitely perfectly located for events held downtown Peterborough. I think it would benefit greatly with some decor and bedding upgrades to make it a destination as opposed to simply place to sleep. That being said itnwas comfortable, staff was friendly, breakfast was fresh and coffee and tea were always available.”

“Dirt flecks looking like mice poop were below the vent. Staff said it’s not poop but continually gets dropped out by the vent. The first room we were in the phone didn’t work, we were moved to another on where it worked, and there were less “vent sprinkles” in that room. My phone battery was almost dead, and while I did have a charge cord I didn’t have a wall adapter, I had hoped there would be a usb slot in the room to use…nope… asked if they had anything at the desk and nope…”

“Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit.”

“The breakfast was good, service was quick. The only complaint was that when we asked if we needed reservations for supper they said no but did not mention the restaurant closed at 6. We went over at 7:30 pm then noticed the sign, there was nothing else open in the town unfortunately ”

“No shops near by and no spa either very small and basic I found the room crowded and the service was terrible ”

“The property is in desperate need of refurbishment. The carpets are extremely stained and dirty and things like the trim in the bathroom and the flooring in the bathroom around the edges is all falling apart. The bed was comfortable but there is no USB by the bed that were functioning which made it very inconvenient. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was just so-so.”

“Breakfast was excellent and the staff spoke great English and were very friendly.This is very unusual these days as most Canadian hospitality workers are from India and are not very friendly”
