Bring the whole family, or two, to your own up-north retreat for a family vacation you won't soon forget. Constructed in 2008. with high vaulted ceilings, large windows with panoramic lake views, knotty pine interior, ceramic tile, full kitchen and an open layout for the kitchen and dining area, with center island and dishwasher. Great location and layout with a huge patio towards the lake.

The cabin has a large living space with a combined kitchen, center island and dining room in an open layout with panoramic views of the lake. The living room has a fieldstone fireplace and fantastic views of the lake. The 2 main floor bedrooms have 9' ceilings, each bedroom has a king sized bed. Two additional bedrooms are upstairs, one with two double beds and the other with a playroom / futon. The cabin has over 2,600 square feet of living space. The bathroom has a ceramic tiled 5 foot walk-in shower, and a separate powder room. The utility/laundry room has a washer/dryer and a small freezer. The dining room walks out to the large patio towards the lake.

Central A/C for summer, and cozy in-floor heat for winter make this a year-round getaway destination for skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, ice-fishing or just a long weekend away. Inside entertainment include 2 TV's, VCR/DVD player, movies, Nintendo, CD player, games and very high speed internet service. Call us for off-season rates from October through the winter.

Outside, you will find the external sauna/changing house/shower building. You will also find a 48' dock, boat lift, nice swimming area and beach, firepit and firewood, swing, hammock, picnic table, chair swing, and barbecue grills, both regular and propane.

The local Suomi hills offer great cross-country skiing in the winter and hiking trails in the summer, and several golf courses are in the area. Little Bowstring is a good fishing lake for walleye, crappie, sunfish, bass and northern, and all species are possible to catch from the dock. Other lakes of mention in the area are Bowstring, Graves, North Star, Jessie, Moose, Deer, and Caribou.

Included in the rent is a 16' fishing boat with 3 folding seats and a 15 HP Yamaha outboard and gas, and electric trolling motor. On the beach, you will find 3 kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboat, and a huge anchored swim raft out from the dock, and many floating toys. The boat shed has electricity and a fish cleaning area.

The cabin is fully stocked with everything you will need, utensils, cookware, dishes, coffee, filters, coffee maker, blender, sugar, flour, vegetable oil, dish soap, paper towels, bathroom tissue, sheets, pillows and blankets. Out-cleaning service will clean once, upon departure.

Mature trees offer shade and privacy through the day, and you can always find a shady or sunny spot in the yard. The onsite kennel is available for your pets. Pets are welcome, but are not allowed to be left alone in the cabin, or allowed on the furniture, beds or carpeted areas, an additional deposit is required for pets.
