“Our favorite thing about the hotel was the view from our balcony. It was so peaceful and it was the perfect place to watch the sunset over the bay. The location was perfect - once you parked, there was no need to use your car again. The Ocean was 2 short blocks away and there was a great assortment of restaurants in walking distance. Some of the faciliy is a bit dated, but it was clean and the staff was super nice and helpful. We will be returning!”

“I am so glad I chose Surf Shanty to stay at! The man at the front desk was so nice and helpful upon checking in. The location was perfect! Less than a block to the beach, on the quieter end of the strip but still walkable to everything. The room was clean and you can tell they put thought into this hotel. All the colors and decor are cohesive and beachy. There is an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off before going back to your room. The beds are super comfortable. We will definitely be back!”

“Other reviews are telling the truth when they say this hotel is VERY CLEAN! You can tell the housekeepers take great pride in making sure every room is spotless. It's not outdated at all and looks even better in person than the pictures online show. Check-in and checkout were super simple and fast! The ac was super quiet and kept the room very cool even on a sweltering day with high humidity. The pool was small but relaxing when we couldn't be at the beach due to a storm. The hotel is in walking...

“Room was clean & comfortable. Only complaint was we had electric bikes & our room was on the 3rd floor without an elevator but they accommodated us by showing up a place to lock them up inside the hotel on the 1st floor. ”
