“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The establishment however, was very worn and in need of upgrades. The breakfast consisted of donuts and frozen Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits. Nothing fresh. No fruit. I didn’t expect much considering the area we were in but we enjoyed the countryside and visiting the birth place of Loretta Lynn. ”

“This property is an empty, abandoned gas station and has quite clearly not been in operation for years. I cannot understand how it's still listed on Expedia and Google, because it literally an empty gas station with no lighting and busted-out windows in the middle of nowhere. I drove an hour to get to this place, arrived in the darkness to find a condemned property, and had to drive to a nearby house to get help because of the lack of phone service in Wharncliffe! “Diana and Steve are the best hosts! Our accommodations were exactly as advertised- clean and comfortable. The riding was great, we even got to ride one day while it was snowing! Lots of trails that are easily accessible and home is in a very nice neighborhood. What a great place to stay! ”
