Renter beware
I rented this property for my wife and two kids for spring break. The pool and backyard looked like exactly what we weee hoping for. Things got off to an odd start when the week before our trip I received a notice of additional payment due. This was odd as I paid in full upon booking. When I asked the host about this fee that was an additional 30% he told me it was for additional guests an amenities. It was only 4 of us and the listing stated for up to 8 people. He claimed a VRBO listing error. Given the fact that it was so close to the trip I didn’t feel I could argue much further. At this time I also noticed a negative review about the host (since removed). This should have been a warning. It only got worse upon arrival. The house was dirty and the backyard was a mess. Furniture was tossed over, every cushion was dirty and covered in bird poop. The slide had bird poop on it as did most of the side of the pool. There was literally nowhere lean to sit and hangout in the backyard. We decided to leave the property and not stay at all. When I contacted the host he was combative and rude. I do not recommend this property at all.

Mostly good, some things could be better
We are a family of 6 and I was attracted to the number of beds, the amenities (pool, table tennis, pop-a-shot), and the location (short drive from a nice beach with easy parking). The place overall lacks refinement and I wouldn't call it luxury. The kitchen is nice, and the bedrooms are large but the patio, patio furniture, and overall decor could use some love. It didn't feel like a place I would relax for a luxury vacation - felt more like it catered to a younger crowd interested in partying. One unique aspect was that there were some basic kitchen items (olive oil, salt, pepper, eggs) there for us upon arrival as well as some nice additions like wine and oreos for the kids. Most other rentals barely have the basics and we feel like we're buying every time hoping they keep it for the next that needs it. Another unique thing-there were no check out steps. The owner said we could leave and it was their job to clean up. We did pick up after ourselves and made a pile of our towels, but sometimes rentals have a long list. With needing to leave by 4am for a flight, we very much appreciated this perk. Lastly, the owner tacked on a hefty extra person charge only 2 days before we checked in. The listing says extra charges may apply (although strange with 5 double or queen beds) but applying it only days before arrival leaves me little option but to pay. I had to put in the # staying when I booked. I would have preferred to see the extra fee in advance of the cancel deadline.

Great pool house. Great location.
We spent the month of February in this house. Perfect location close to Trader Joe's, Whole foods and just about every store you could possibly want. Minutes from Delray public beach and all the restaurants, shopping and people watching on Atlantic Ave. The house itself met all our needs and the pool is wonderful! Well heated and very clean. Professional pool cleaners came twice weekly. Most important: The owner ALWAYS responded within minutes to every question and even had a plumber out the same day for a minor shower handle issue. House is well stocked (nice espresso machine) and even had "snacks" and fresh flowers in the house when we arrived. 5 stars.

Amazing
The property was amazing and easy to find. Very clean and felt homey due to him having all of the necessary kitchen tools needed . He even provided breakfast stuff and snacks! Definitely 10/10 . Although it was a rainy weekend so we couldn’t enjoy any of the outdoor games& the pool or jacuzzi hopefully next time I book it’s sunny weather 😊

Super convenient location
We stayed here for a girls weekend and had a great time. Easy access to Delray Beach/Atlantic Avenue. Host left us lots of goodies including breakfast foods and some wine. House is well equipped. Note that one of the beds is actually in the living room. It was a little bit of a strange set up. Didn't bother us one bit but it might be awkward for other groups.
