“The employee that checked us in was wonderful. She was beyond helpful. We arrived flustered and she made check in smooth. Hotel was clean-the only thing that was odd was a pen found in plain sight on the ground when we got in our room. One of the dispensers in the shower was broken off -I believe it was replaced incorrectly as there were two conditioners instead of shampoo. Our door did not shut fully when closing the door-you have to pull hard on the handle to ensure it locked. Unfortunately...

“When talking to the check-in staff and later another staff, each of them was very helpful. The hotel room bathroom fan was excessively loud and the switch for it also controlled the light. If you wanted light in the bathroom you had to put up with the fan noise. This bothered both of us using the room. The hotel rooms are rather dark and the bespreads, etc. are pretty worn and dated. The room was quiet. If you just want a place to rest, it is fine, but the place is a little shabby.”

“The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I set the A/C to 73 degrees which made for a comfortable sleeping environment without setting me up for a heat shock for the hot morning temps.”

“Zero stars wasn’t an option. Filthy carpet and walls, broken and worn furniture. Staff tried to scam more money out of me, said I had no reservation and my paid receipt from Expedia meant nothing. Terrible place to stay with a terrible staff”

“A great example of an historic motel. Maintenance and facility quality are lacking.”

“It is wonderful to visit a small town and stay in a quality hotel. My favorite aspect of the hotel is its location and setting next to a historic German hausbarn. The only negative I have - our room was near a hallway main door that squeaked when someone entered the hallway.”

“This was a nice place for our stay and we were able to upgrade to a suite since my old dog couldn't walk up the stairs. When he took himself for a walk, the staff were very kind and even tried to keep him as a new member of the housekeeping crew. The location was close to food options for dinner. Though we didn't use the lounge, I really appreciated that it was there and would have been a nice way to relax after a long day of travel. “While the property is older and a little tired (for example the chairs in the room were quite worn - sink had cracks) it was extremely clean. The room was large with ample room for the table and 2 chairs and a desk. It was quiet. The breakfast was a total surprise - eggs and sausage and a waffle maker. This area was also very clean. “Older budget style motel. Looks weathered on the outside but the room was well maintained and comfortable. No complaints at all. Nice 9 hole golf course very close with good views and food. Convenient and well priced. I will stay again.”

“I wish I had something positive to say. We had ants in our room told the staff they seemed to not be interested. They came into our room to clean while we were gone and the only thing they did was pull the bed linen up. They tracked dirt in. Didn't grab the trash. We had to book for 7 days or we couldnt book it.The beds were old and hard. The sink was clogged. Was charged 100 a night for a room that barely fit 2 double beds.
