Open June 2026 | Casa Artista is a tranquil top-floor artist's loft located in Golden's historic district. Featuring vaulted ceilings, two private balconies with mountain views, and original artwork throughout, the space offers a peaceful retreat just four blocks from downtown Golden.

The loft includes a private bedroom, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, gas fireplace, house stereo, and Smart TV.

Guests are also welcome to enjoy the shared backyard, garden, and BBQ area.

The space
The loft is in a 1950's remodeled home located on historic 12th street where many merchant and store owners in early 1890s Golden built residences.

My grandparents purchased the house in 1955 , grandma's flower still bloom in the garden. The art loft was once an art studio and classroom for teaching art.

Its a tranquil space right in the heart of golden blocks from downtown and the river.

Guest access
Guests have the entire top second floor of the house and a separate private entrance as well as 1 parking spot in the driveway. You also have access to common outdoor backyard gardens, deck, bbq and patio area shared with other tenants in the house.

Other areas of the house and front yard are off limits to short term guests.

This is a the top floor of our 2 story house, the bottom main floor and basement floor are occupied by the owner or other tenants and are off limits to short term guests.

Although its quiet and peaceful, you might on occasion hear us or other people in the house, quiet hours are 10pm - 8am.

We have pets on floors beneath you if you have allergy issues. (2 dogs)

We use a swamp cooler in the summer (evaporative cooler) which brings outside air in if you have pollen allergy issues.
