We had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful and with all the amenities you could need and more. The home was clean, the kitchen is very large and updated, and the bedrooms are all cozy. Would definitely rent this property again.

Perfect house for family gathering

We came in for our son's wedding at the Boetcher Mansion very close to this house. This house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 2 children. Great bedrooms, large kitchen fully supplied with everything you need and the views from the 2 decks were outstanding. The owners were great to deal with and responded immediately to any questions we had. You will love this house

Fantastic hosts, location and home!

We were two families (4 adults, 4 kids and infant) and had the greatest time over spring break. The house is conveniently located off of I70 so easy access to Denver or the ski resorts in the mountains. Location: you are on a paved road, then you’re off-roading on a dirt road. Try to get there during daylight so you can find the place easily. You need 4WD if it rains a lot or snows. We were snowed in with the biggest snowstorm of the season but we were all happily warm and enjoying the house for 2.5 days. We risked it with 2WD and snow chains and barely made it out. The snow blower in the garage was a major plus! Stop by grocery store before you go because it’s a good 10-15 min drive away. House: literally everything you need and more. Well stocked with kitchen appliances(coffee maker, crockpot, blender, mixer, toaster oven, toaster, fridge freezer with ice maker), dishes/cups, pots/pans, utensils, measuring cups and spoons, and pantry was also well stocked! Beds are so comfortable, nice bed and bath linens, even had shampoo/conditioner/body wash in each bathroom. Humidifiers in each closet…. It was dry when we were there and that helped a ton. HE washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets. Huge hot tub. Games/Activities: arcade, ping pong, pool table, closet full of games and movies, sleds in garage, excellent collection of books for the kids. The hosts have great taste (quality), were friendly and available.

Beautiful view from deck

House was clean and plenty of supplies to be able to cook meals. We loved hanging out downstairs with the ping pong table and hot tub in the evenings. Very responsive to any questions we had about the place.

Great Property

I agree with Nancy W. - can’t say enough good things about this property and these hosts! Everyone in our group loved this property. The wonderful deck has not only amazing views, but also great bird visitors. You can refill the bird feeders and watch the birds all day long. I have never stayed in a rental with such a well-equipped kitchen, and there is ample seating in the kitchen and dining room for a large group. The hosts were super responsive before and during our stay. They have created a comfortable, welcoming environment for visitors. In addition, the location is perfect. Close to Golden, hiking trails, and Red Rocks Amphitheater. I recommend this property highly and would not hesitate to stay there again!

Amazing Property & Hosts!

I cannot say enough good things about this property and these hosts! John & Andrea were super responsive to any questions both before and during or stay, and they were the most gracious, generous hosts I’ve ever encountered. Their home had absolutely everything you could possibly need, and they were happy to share freely. Absolutely every comfort of home. Their home is located in a neighborhood, but still felt entirely private and the views were absolutely AMAZING. It is such a well-planned and perfectly thought out home with so much attention to detail and so tastefully decorated in a modern yet comfortable and cozy style. Having access to the garage was a first for us at any rental home and made life much easier. The perfect opportunity to feel that you’ve gotten away from it all (quiet enough to sleep with the windows open and also to enjoy the wildlife while sipping coffee on the beautiful deck) while still having the convenience of downtown Golden just 15-20 minutes away. And so much to do at the house that we never had to leave if we didn’t want to. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, John & Andrea!

Wonderful home

Truly a perfect mountain location. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the gorgeous mountain valley. Home was perfect for our group of six. Well appointed kitchen for cooking, wonderful linens on comfortable beds, fabulous family room on the lower level. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet With Stunning Views

The house was very well kept and equipped with more than you need, and had tons of entertainment options for all ages. The view from the main level balcony is incredible, and there is plenty of seating to sit and watch the sun set over the mountains. A peaceful location, perfect for some old friends to gather and catch up, or to bring your family and enjoy each other. If that wasn't enough, the owner, Andrea, was beyond helpful, attentive, and accommodating! I will be returning, for sure! Thank you for having us!
