Hi Barbara, Thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. I do apologize about the difficulty in rescheduling. As with your booking, the pandemic was a major disruption for several dozens of families who had booked the Lodge, Barn, and Picnic area many months in advance. With all of the uncertainty for such a long time, it was difficult to answer everybody's questions after a surge in cases and with the changes in travel restrictions every few days. It seemed like every time there was bad news, most of the families wanted us to help them decide if they should cancel, reschedule, or go ahead with their plans. It was a real nightmare for us to try and accommodate everybody as best we could without knowing what the other families wanted to do as they checked with their own wedding parties, venues, and grandparents. We are so happy that it all worked out in the end and grateful that you and your family were able to have the wedding weekend that you wanted. Thanks again and we hope to be able to host your (newly bigger) family for a family reunion in the future. All the best, John

Hi Vickie, Thank you so much for having your family stay at the Colorado Lodge and two other of our rentals nearby. Everybody in your family was super nice and it was fun meeting and joking around with them while they were helping me reset the circuit breaker for the range after the lightning storm. You were the perfect guests and I really appreciate your patience with the range and cable going out right before you arrived. It's so nice to see families getting together for a few days around the wedding. I'm so glad everything worked out well and everybody had a good time. Hi Harlan, Thank you and your co-workers for staying and cleaning up so well after your first stay in a VRBO. By communicating through VRBO, my cleaning person and Cohost get copies of your messages which helps us serve our guests better. When you are texting me directly and telling me (only), and at the last minute, that one of your group is arriving 3 hours early, it's hard to coordinate everything and everybody for a last minute change like that. When Tim went to the house to check it over and finish setting up for your group 3 1/2 hours early, she had already Ubered in, used the lockbox code, and was already in the house which was quite a shock to him. It's different than a Hotel because we don't have a front desk to check people in whenever they happen to arrive at random times. You are welcome to stay at the Lodge again, but please plan ahead better and we would appreciate it if you didn't ding us on the review after doing our best to accommodate you and your co-workers.
