First off, John was great, fulfilling our every need, (and we asked for a lot!)
The house couldn't have been more luxurious, generously sized, with very personal touches; floral arrangements everywhere, fully appointed kitchen, with a commercial stove and a fantastic food prep island, a pantry full of supplies, nicely decorated rooms, and numerous games for both inside and outside entertainment. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and there was a large gas grill and even a pellet smoker for BBQ'n. The seven bedrooms were just right for our family gathering of four generations. Even the kids had fun.
The barn was fabulous for our wedding rehearsal party, boasting six large picnic tables w/ red and white checkered table cloths, string lights at the open-beam ceiling, a bar for beverages, large serving tables and chafing dishes, a piano, and even an old-fashioned popcorn popper machine! The guests all raved about the setting. After the party some adjourned to the outside fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs for casual conversation. Others played Frisbee golf and the corn hole game in the large yard.
The facility is located close to Hwy 70 (easy commute to our wedding venue in Idaho Springs), with plenty of off-street parking, set among tall pines.
