I had sent multiple clear messages that we wanted to rent this property for the night for my partner's birthday and a concert we were seeing on the specific date. Our request was accepted, we drove nearly two hours to the property to find that we haven't been given any way to enter with no response from Sonia. It wasn't until we got her husband on the ring camera after 30 minutes of trying that we got a message back saying she never accepted our request - which was flatly untrue. Multiple emails worth of VRBO confirmation, and an explicit 'yes' in our direct chat. But come the day of - not only was the room a mess through the glass door, we had to rush to stay at a hotel and pay last minute pricing because the host cancelled the stay for us instead of trying to make anything right or provide any explanation. Absolutely horrific experience and zero accountability from the Sonia. Stay anywhere else.

After everything that happened I don't want to give this any more energy so I'll try to keep it short. It was almost impossible to communicate with the host. No check in instructions, takes hours to get a reply from the app, phone number doesn't work for a phone call. We arrived and shortly after unloading everything from one of our vehicles we were informed the host double booked us and we needed to leave. She canceled a 3 night 4 day stay AFTER we got settled in. The truck had to be dropped off for service so we were down a vehicle, had to find a hotel, and then unload all of our items at the hotel before we could go back for the remainder our our things from the vrbo. Our dog kennel and 3 dogs normally ride in the truck which would be out of service before we needed to check out. This made transferring everything from the canceled vrbo to the hotel very difficult. During that time we were threatened with the police if we did not get out. We were figuring everything out and getting everything out as fast as possible. Mind you we are from Kentucky, we don't know anyone in Colorado to help us. Then after we got out we were accused of stealing her stinky hotel like towels that we wouldn't have used to begin with. There was old nasty cake and ice cream and thawed and re-thawed chicken in the freezer and the whole bathroom area had a terrible mildew smell. Don't take my word, though. Have a stay and let us know here what you think! I hope you don't have an experience like ours!
