Very nice stay.
Stayed in one of the stable rooms,very nicely kept and the shower was amazing.The ladies on duty were very helpfull with local knowledge.They were there if needed but were in the background if needed. Breakfast was hale and hearty and set us up for the day.

The room was extremely comfortable, warm and cosy, with all the features you need. Loved the whole feel & vibe of the place. "Quirky" features & great décor, each room decorated differently. A personable welcome from the host -Rob where we were given the information we needed with a welcome cup of tea and delicious chocolate brownie. Good breakfast too. Would happily stop there again.

Lovely stay- great find!
We had a lovely stay at The Coach House whilst attending an event in neighbouring Darley Park. The accommodation was even better than we had expected, the bed was very comfortable and the room was overall. We loved the decor and styling of the bed and bathroom and had the added extra of a bath with rainshower. The mini bar was well stocked with a good range of items, but we didnt have time to use or enjoy these given we'd had plenty to eat and drink at the event. We would recommend and rebook if visit Derby again. The breakfast was very good, coffee provide at breakfast and in room by cafetiere. There is also a very nice pub just a couple of minutes walk away and Darley Abbey Village is also close on foot.

Wish there were more place like this - perfect!
Such a perfect little oasis! We stumbled upon this cozy B&B on our way from Devon to Newcastle to visit The Sage. It was the perfect place to touch down for the night. The Coach welcome us, our son and our dog for a late night check in. Even packed a breakfast for us to take away for our 6am departure. We also had THE BEST takeaway delivered from Masala (if you happen to arrive late like us and miss The Coach House Bistro). Thank you so much for a perfect stay.

Very happy thank you
We stayed in room 3 which is the family room. It was set out as a double and 2 singles and we also brought our own cot. We were greeted on arrival, everything about our stay explained. The beds were comfy, a lovely shower and bath in the room. We used the honesty bar downstairs to have a drink in the garden and had the most delicious complementary brownies that went down extremely well with our children! Breakfast was great, a good choice and great quality. Would definitely stay here again.

Manager very nice and helpful, food decent, outdoor sitting area lovely. Walking distance to a good restaurant.Bed too low especiallyfor seniors (should mention in overview). No door to toilet / bathroom is a negative. No bottled water offered.

Fantastic bed & breakfast!
Beautiful accommodation and gardens. The main house with the snug and dining room was beautiful too. Breakfast was delicious. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble and Zoe went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay while attending our friends wedding! The room was spacious and very comfortable with everything we could’ve needed. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Georgian boutique B&B
We had a great overnight stay at The Coach House. The room and house are full of character and beautifully decorated. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here if visiting Derby or the Peak District.

We stayed at The Coach House for the night before our Wedding and the night of our Wedding. We couldn’t of chosen better accommodation. Zoe was attentive and so friendly. I had a very hungover Groom and Zoe went out of her way to cater for him at breakfast time. The Coach House is an amazing B&B, that is beautifully unique.

Wedding at the mill
It was so lovely, from the tiny bar where we had a drink on arrival, to the top class breakfast at the end! Quirky interesting decor, friendly helpful staff. Couldn’t have found a better place to stay!

Helpful and clean
The coach house was great. We were able to collect our key early due to having to run off to a wedding pre-check in and we were unable to check in within the time frame given. They were helpful in us checking out also, as we had to leave early and sadly miss breakfast. The only criticism I would have is no glasses in the room to grab a glass of water from the tap, which is a minor issue as we should have brought our own bottles. Beautiful room, which was clean and tidy. Thank you for our stay and all your help.

Lovely, with a couple of caveats
I don't think the heatwave helped, or that we'd already had a long day hiking in the Peak District. The room is lovely - sitting in a beautiful garden, but all of our windows faced onto the terrace - so we couldn't throw them open without sacrificing privacy for us or the diners/drinkers. The room was very stylish - it is one of the lowest and softest beds I've slept it. A couple of niggles - the TV is tiny and basic, and the shower floods the bathroom however you try to avoid that. Also - Iron without an ironing board that we could find. But the staff were brilliant, it was a very reasonable price and the breakfast was tasty on that lovely terrace. We hadn't realised check out was 10am though! We will be recommending it to family who often visit Derby

Lovely but loud
The place would be perfect if not for the bistro tables outside your bedroom windows until near 11pm and due to the fact that the person above our room was loud we had a very poor nights sleep and would not stay again because of this. It is a real shame because the staff, decor, location and food are superb. If noise doesn’t bother you this place would be perfect for you. Otherwise choose a quieter place.

Thank you for your honest feedback, we usually host our pop up bistro nights (we don't do them every week) indoors but due to the heatwave we decided to let everyone sit outdoors to cool off. As i think they enjoyed our garden and hospitality a little too much this ran on later than planned. I'm sorry this disturbed you and we will now re-think for future events. Luxurious retreat
This is a great small hotel towards the North of Derby. It was a luxurious retreat at the end of 4 days walking in Derbyshire and the Peaks.

Definitely returning!!
Absolutely lovely place. Beds so comfy. LOVE the radio 📻 (not often found separate in rooms). Decor and everything was just really high std. well stocked mini bar and good Yorkshire tea bags! Easy parking on site. Seemed like a nice area.

Brilliant little B&B
Home cooked hot breakfast was delicious. Great service absolutely faultless & purely perfect in every way. Staff could not go out of their way anymore to make my stay any more perfect, was an absolute pleasurable stay & I will definitely consider staying here again in the near future. The only criticism I can think of is walls are quite thin in the single bedrooms & because of this you can hear your neighbours every move & the bed was very squeaky & creaky, but nonetheless was extremely comfortable & I had a great nights sleep. Most pleasurable stay overall.

Hotel stay!
Friendly staff. The bed was comfortable however we didn’t sleep great as you could hear every bit of noise other guests in the hotel were making i.e talking, tv and getting showered in the morning and at breakfast. Room seemed clean but bathroom toilet seat was broke! Despite being awake most of the night the only joy we had was a comfy bed and a nice welcome from one of the workers on the arrival.
