Great condo. Clean, had all we needed for a week's stay, easy check in, awesome views and close to restaurants. Only inconvenience was the AC was loud, every time it stopped it did very loud clicking noises that woke us up during the night.

Perfect getaway!

This is hands down our new favorite location! The beach access is by far the easiest and most convenient we’ve experienced in our 8 years of coming to Destin. The sunset views from the balcony are amazing and the perfect ending to the day.

Home Away From Home

This condo comfortably accommodated my family of 5. We felt right at home. It was clean and had all the conveniences, comfortable beds, and best of all was in the perfect location….next to the beach. I would highly recommend this property!!!

Great weekend

We were in town for our 40th HS reunion. The view from the unit is amazing. Beach access and pool were great as well as parking access. Gave us the room to catch up with friends without going out to eat for every meal.

Perfect getaway

The location was clean and high quality. Gated private parking with a 24 hour guard. Beach access to multiple beaches all within walking distance. Short drive time to find food, groceries and attractions. We would stay here again and again.

Perfect Stay

Property is in process of being updated, however the amenities are very enjoyable and the communication about the updates were timely and accurate. This is our second time at this resort/condo and we are making plans on returning. This is in an area in Destin that is not so heavily populated as others and yet close to restaurants and other attractions. The short walk on the beach and to and on the Jetty is relaxing. The overview of the lagoon is soothing as you can admire the water fowl in this habitat from the balcony as the fishing ships and dolphin watching ships depart and return.

Family vacay

This unit was great for a family of six. Easy check in, unit has a door code so no keys to pick up. Unit is perfect for viewing fireworks! Decor needs to be updated and owner needs to remove junk in closets. If this would be done hands down this unit would be five stars. Jetty East has the BEST pavilion for grilling, white Sandy beaches and beautiful crystal clear water. The complex has become very strict on outside guest visiting. We did have an issue with this. We had a great week in Destin and would definitely return for the price.

Nice place weird check in process

Overall the condo wasn't bad. The place was great from the inside very comfty beds but we were limited on the drawers we can use since owner locked them. The building seems like it needs some upgrade it looks kinda haunted but the inside of the condo was very nice. Loved the short walk to the beach we had a private entrance so it was great. Pool and hot tub were a plus! The check in process was nerve wrecking didn't really get a call, text or email had to call myself for accommodations. Wished it was more easy and convenient. I called because a drawer was broken in the fridge never got an answer had to report it when I left wish their was more communication. Overall great place liked the location and it has a beautiful beach view.

Nice location, beautiful beach, seemed like the room could have been a little cleaner and updated, there was a coffee maker there but no filters, we left the ones we bought so it should be supplied for a while, it is advertised as having a lighted tennis court but i didnt see any lights or people playing after dark. It has a shuffleboard court right beside the tennis court but i couldn't find any equipment to play with and had to reach out 2 different times to the host before he finally replied and said he would check if there is any equipment onsite but he never got back with me, so if thats a sport you look forward to playing while you are there just beware that you apparently have to furnish your own supplies or i was just not properly informed. it is advertised also as having a grill, the grills are out under the pavilion by the beach, there are multiple grills and appear to be on first-come first-served bases, i didn't realize thats where they were until the last evening we were there and i decided to check out the pavilion. Overall I would recommend the room and experience but it would have been nice to be a little better informed on everything so hopefully this review helps for the next people in line!

The worst checki in process I have ever experienced. I couldn’t believe I had to drive 10 miles out of the way to pick up my keys. What if I didn’t have a car? One of the most ridiculous things I’ve experienced. The check in communication was also terrible. I received a small amount of information the day of check in but other than that nothing about the property where things were, linen services, I had to find out on my own.

DO NOT GO HERE DURING CONSTRUCTION!

We have stayed at Jetty East for several years, usually in January or February due to the warm pool and the great location. We also know that this is the time of the construction, so there is usually a bit more noise. This trip, though, was a nightmare. Construction is one thing (they were putting carpet in the 4th and 6th floor--we were on the 5th floor), but they were sanding down the floor of the lobby and creating a noxious dust that covered everything--and we inhaled it ALL WEEK and coughed uncontrollably. Twenty years of lobby flooring being sanded down and creating inhalants that caused me and my family to cough. This unit should NOT have been rented, and we found out that the property management company (Best Beach Getaways) was actually notified of carpet work but NOT of the lobby sanding. I pray my family does not experience long-term respiratory distress from this trip. We tried to spend as much time as we could outside of the condo, but coughed nonstop when we were there. It was unacceptable. ASK IF THEY ARE DOING CONSTRUCTION, and if so, do not go.

STAY AWAY 316B

Check in process was horrible. Besides the gas prices going up …once we arrived to the office as instructed we had to go to a different location to pick up keys. Again with the worse instructions from JENNI to try to find a REGION BANK that was under construction …with no identity on the building. I called Jenni back to make sure we were at the right location twice and she did not answer @ all or check on us to see if we were able to get the keys. FYI…IT MIGHT BE BETTER FOR YOU TO MEET GUEST WITH THE KEYS. so that they can enjoy their stay without the stress! The condo can also use a makeover. The sofa’s were dirty with spots that we were uncomfortable to sit on. We had a thin roll of toilet paper upon arrival 6pm that lasted a day and a half that they would not provide anymore. . We had to purchase our own supply. We also had a difficult time returning keys which the lock box would not open. It was also another guest waiting there trying to get keys to start his vacation stay and he couldn’t unlock the box. I texted Rob (HOST) to let him know and he didn’t respond until the next day. Which He should have known the answer by then. These people have the worse communication skills and directions. That is my first and last time I would go back to that place. I wouldn’t book here again….

Upon finding a cockroach on the first nigh, there was sand all over the floor. We couldn’t walk barefoot because of the sand. And we hadn’t even went to the beach yet. The listing online made it appear to be bigger than what the apartment actually was. The staff wasn’t friendly either.

A decent stay

Short on toilet paper and trash bagS, dishwasher didn’t seem to work, not enough pillows, furniture was worn. I had to drive to another city to pick up keys.
