THE SPACE:

Driftwood Dreams Cottage is the upstairs unit conveniently situated within an easy walk of the beach and local eateries. This prime location provides effortless access to the plethora of activities available in the Destin area, both on land and at sea. Catering to groups of up to six (with a maximum of four adults), our cottage promises a comfortable and unforgettable stay. For larger gatherings, consider coupling this unit with our twin unit upstairs, collectively accommodating up to 12 guests (eight adults at most).

For your convenience, onsite coin laundry facilities are available. A newly redesigned and fully equipped kitchen will allow you to cook up quick snacks or gourmet meals with ease. The provision of high-speed WiFi and smart TVs with cable ensures the perfect setting for a movie night after a day of memorable adventures.

The community pool is heated November-March, making this an ideal getaway year-round!

PARKING
Please note that 2 spots are available per unit. Guests must print the parking passes sent as part of the check-in instructions and place them on the driver's side dashboard. Cars without parking passes will be towed by the HOA.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Your safety matters. One security camera is located at the front door. It is outward-facing and does not point into the interior.

Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancel 30+ days before arrival: 100% refund (minus Processing Fee)

Cancel 14+ days before arrival: 50% refund (minus Processing Fee)

Cancel fewer than 14 days before arrival: No refund

A non-refundable 4% Processing Fee applies to all reservations and is not returned in the event of cancellation.

★HOUSE RULES★

This property requires a separate rental agreement to be reviewed and signed after booking. A link to the full agreement will be sent through the Airbnb message thread in your booking confirmation. It includes guest and property details, stay dates, fees, house rules (e.g., no parties, no smoking, pet rules), cancellation terms, and guest/host responsibilities. Please note that check-in instructions will only be released after the rental agreement is signed.

☞︎ No smoking is allowed (including vape). If you smoke inside the home you will be charged $250. You will be charged an increase in cleaning fee, and you will be charged for any damages.

☞︎ No pets are allowed. We love our furries as much as you, but no pets are allowed due to allergies. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $250 and you will be asked to leave.

☞︎ Person booking and checking in must be at least 25 years old to reserve and must occupy the rental property throughout the whole booking.

☞︎ Please do not use Flushable Wipes. We have good plumbing but it does not handle flushable wipes well. Clogged toilets due to flushable wipes will result in a plumbing service charge of $250, with an additional $250 if the services are required after hours.

☞︎ Use of the pool is AT YOUR OWN RISK. The hosts are NOT responsible for any injuries that result from the use of the swimming pool.

☞︎ Please do not remove furniture from the unit, including patio chairs.

☞︎ No parties are allowed.

☞︎ No excessive noise after 10 pm or before 8 am.

☞︎ Maximum occupancy of 6 people (4 adults). Off-site visitors are not permitted without prior permission and are subject to a $100 fee per extra guest.

☞︎ We follow our stated cancellation policies under all circumstances. We highly recommended guests purchase travel insurance to cover weather related issues (tropical storms, hurricanes, etc.) and illnesses that may arise and interrupt travel.

☞︎ If an item is left behind, we're happy to help return it. A $75 flat fee applies to locate, package, and ship forgotten items within the continental U.S. Payment is required before the item is shipped. Additional fees may apply for oversized, heavy, or expedited shipments. Items not requested within 14 days may be donated or discarded at our discretion.

☞︎Unapproved late checkouts may result in a $50 fee per hour (or partial hour) past the scheduled checkout time. If the delay interferes with the cleaning schedule or the next guest's arrival, additional charges may apply.
