We have been staying at this property for many years. In the past, every time we visit Destin, however, at this visit, it was very disappointing. Our beds were not good. The mattress was practically a swing, and when we reported, we were told that they will flip the mattress and change our room which they offered. We declined because it was a total mass to wrap up everything. And then shift to another room for in the middle of our stay. We were there for 4 nights and the breakfast kept disappointing every single day from the first day of breakfast. Until our final milday at the property, the breakfast items kept disappearing and were kept getting limited in. Numbers that nobody cared about. We were a big group and we were told repeatedly that this is what we have. So that is what you will eat. Then, since we were a big group, we wanted to spend some time together in the breakfast area. In the evenings and a very rude night receptionist man kept interrupting us. Telling us that we need to leave the area because it's a breakfast area. And we are not supposed to be there in the evening things it was barely 9:30 PM. At night and he kept interrupting us and being really rude and then just left a bottle, a spray bottle of cleaning. Solution and a towel and said, you need to cleanup the one table where some of our kids were eating dinner. We just felt really insulted by the approach. He could have been nicer and told us the same thing in a hospitable manner.
