Great house and friendly host
The house and host were great! Great communication from the host and very friendly! My group tried to rent a golf cart to get to the beach, and found out 2 days into our stay that we weren’t allowed to have it in the neighborhood. Host was very professional and friendly in reporting this matter. We actually read it on the rules for check-in but misunderstood. We thought they meant we couldn’t park the golf cart on the street. Nope! No golf cart at all- even though it’s a mile to the beach! Very silly, but no fault to the owner. It’s HOA rules. Luckily we got a refund on our golf cart. HOA allows owners to use golf carts, but not guests/renters. Just something to be aware of! We did not use the beach shuttle, as it only ran from 10-4 I believe and there was only 1 for the whole neighborhood. Shuttle drop off however is at a very small sardine space of a public beach. You’re best bet is to go down the street past private beach hotel property to a bigger public beach access with free parking! Overall though house was great and worth the money! We even bought an extra night! Host even left us some dishwasher pods and trash bags which I thought was nice!
