  • Denna lägenhet på 6: e våningen i slutet av enheten erbjuder överlägsen utsikt över viken och infarten till Destin Harbor. Bästa platsen för att se fantastiska solnedgångar och fyrverkerier på natten. Condo 618 rymmer upp till 6 personer med en kung i sovrummet, två tvillingar i gästrummet och en ny bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Destins vita pulver sandstrand ligger en kort promenad över sanddynerna med två stolar och ett paraply ingår för din njutning - kom dit tidigt för det bästa valet.

    Alla enheter är rökfria. Condo 618 renoverades 2017, med nya stora brickor i vardagsrummet och gästbadrum. Kök uppgraderat med nya moderna skåp, bänkskivor i granit och apparater i rostfritt stål. Vardagsrummet har nya möbler, dekor och konstverk. Alla rum har nya takfläktar. Vardagsrummet har en Samsung-TV med en DVD-spelare och sovrummen har platt-TV. Master-badrummet ombyggdes i början av 2018 med tegelgolv och ny snygg fåfängsspegel, utegående fläktar och ledbelysning. Båda sovrummen hade nya mattor installerade i slutet av 2018 och erbjuder plantage fönsterluckor, nya s��ngkläder och dekor.

    Njut av avskildhet på din egen privata balkong och titta på de fantastiska solnedgångarna och fiske- och utflyktsbåtar som går ut och tillbaka till hamnen under dagen.

Nice Property

Close beach access with chairs and umbrella, nice pools and hot tub, quiet rooms, beautiful views overlooking the ocean from balcony, board games in our room, pickle ball, convenient parking, Friday night movie at the pool. I would stay at the Islander again!

Great family vacation spot

We enjoyed our stay in the nicely decorated condo, just a short walk from the beach. We had plenty of room for our family of 4. Having 2 bathrooms was definitely a plus. Our view was of the beach and the boats coming into the harbor. I would love to stay again soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Destin is the perfect place to go to hide from winter snow, and if you dont like hot weather either, temp are mid 50s -60s. The Islander Resort where we stay is super snowbird friendly, and our 6th floor unit is comfy, modern, and has glorious sunset views. The Islander provides the palm room for many get togethers, potlucks, yoga, mahjongg, dominos and card games. People are friendly and inclusive. We’ve returned for seven years and are planning to return next winter.

Late summer vacay

Everything was excellent as it was the previous year. Only negative was there was only one working elevator that intermittently didn't work either. The place was fairly busy so people were pretty disgruntled about it. Other than that, perfect!

We had everything we needed to stay in and cook and go by our day to day routines. Beds were comfortable and the view from the balcony was ideal. Loved playing pickle ball, shuffle board, soaking in the hot tub and swimming in the heated pools. The walk to the beach was summer quick and Allen (the beach attendant) was really great. Loved it here an would do again in a heart beat.

Reviewer Comments: The unit was very nice as always but I must say the sofa and loveseat are very old and uncomfortable which limits entertaining or relaxing inside. I have been visiting over 25 years and fist time I had an unwanted pest insect in the unit which was not something you want to deal with on vacation.Also one of the elevators is becoming extremely clunky for lack of a better descriptor.I fully intend to return and cant wait till next year!

The rental is tucked at the far end from the elevators which makes traffic outside minimal. You are directly in front of the stairs, but that was not an issue. The resort is an older resort, but the rental was nicely updated and has very comfortably beds. The balcony overlooks both the ocean and the bay. The initial check in was easy and quick. The only downside was only one of two elevators was working so it took some time to get up/down. The kitchen is stocked like a hotel and provides you with all cooking wear, coffee pot and dishes, but remember to bring your own coffee filters! Overall, a great rental

Atmosphere !

The condo was perfectly clean and quiet, yet the atmosphere of the entire place was fun and exciting. Never a time when families weren't laughing and playing at the pools or on the beach. Probably the best evening vibes at any place we've stayed. We'll be back 100%.

Vacation 2022

We stayed at this property June 4 - June 9 2022. The condo was decorated nicely. There was plenty of room for me, my husband, my mother in law, and my two year old daughter. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. When we arrived, my daughter walked around the condo barefoot. Her feet were soo dirty within 30 minutes. It was as if the floor hadn’t been cleaned at all. When I bathed her I had to clean black hairs out of the bathtub and drain. With the cleaning fee included in the price of the booking, I don’t think you should have to clean upon arrival. The location is great. The view from the condo was great. We enjoyed the beach and pool area.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location in Destin was great and central to what we were here to do. Generally, property was in good condition, but I did not like the outdated tubs/showers. Our master had hair in the bedding when we arrived.The property management was very unclear about 1 thing. I called before my arrival about whether there was a dog park area because I knew my daughter may stop by with her puppy. The associate that responded said there was not one that she knew of, but when asked said, it'd be fine if when the dog was there we just picked up behind him outdoors. Well as we were getting ready to all leave the Islander, a manager rush up to me saying that dogs were not allowed. The assumption was that the dog was staying in our unit, but it was not. The puppy rode with it's owner, and we all left to see my son's baseball game. I did not appreciate her approach at all. I found it to be rude, presumptuous and unprofessional. The listing said our unit was not pet friendly; however, I thought since units were individually owned perhaps there may be an area we could responsibly walk the visiting dog. As stated, that is why I had called prior to our stay.

Reviewer Comments: We stay in this unit for three months each winter, and feel like it’s our 2nd home. The view of the ocean and Jetty are great and sunsets are beautiful. Unit is clean, beds are comfy and staff friendly. Pools clean and grounds well kept. New pickle ball courts.Area has every kind of restaurant desired and lots of retail shopping. Winter weather not like so. Florida, but no snow to shovel.
