Nära till ett av komplexen tre pooler eller bara en två minuters promenad, inga vägar att korsa, till den privata stranden för en dag i viken.

Southbay by Gulf Townhome # 50 är precis vad läkaren beställde. Denna nyligen ombyggda 2BR sover 8 och har en kung i befälhavaren, 2 fullstor sängar i gäst sovrummet och en drottning bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Enheten har ett fullt utrustat kök och tvättmaskin / torktumlare i full storlek, 3 platt-TV-apparater och trådlöst internet.

Husdjur - en hund tillåten med en $ 200 återbetalas husdjur avgift.

Parkering - 1 tilldelad parkeringsplats, andra bilar måste parkera på en omärkt plats. Först till kvarn.

Komplexa bekvämligheter inkluderar en 5 tunnland stor fiskesjö, två pooler (en uppvärmd på vintern) och en barnpool, två tennisbanor och en 300 "privat strandfront.

All Around Great Property

The property was perfect; although not located directly on the beach, it overlooked a lake and was just a short walk to the beach. The accommodations were perfect for our family getaway. We definitely plan to return in the future!

Spring Break

We had a wonderful time staying here and a great experience! Loved being so close to the beach and loved seeing all the turtles in the water from the balconies. The condo was perfect for my family of four and 2 dogs! We would definitely stay there again!!

Nice Area

We weren’t thrilled with the kitchen being upstairs but after a day or so you get used to it, we loved the property and being able to have our dog with us. The lake and walk over was beautiful just a short walk to the beach.

Great space, great.location

Just off the main drag, quiet and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with all cooking utensils you could need and view was great. I enjoyed the decks and quick walk to beach and pool. I couldn't hear people in the neighboring units and when I had a question the property manager was quick to respond. I'd stay again!

Easy beach access

The location was perfect, we enjoyed the lake view with the turtles. Very friendly community. My only suggestion would be to have a good broom or swifter available to use daily and the showers didn’t drain well. We will definitely come back for another visit!

Beautiful Property + Pristine Beach

I really enjoyed my stay in Destin, FL in large part due to where I stayed and I am so happy I chose this place. The private beach, the amenities (free beach chair, umbrella etc), the clean, welcoming property and the prompt responses to questions... Everything about this stay was perfect. I still reminisce about sitting on that porch swing. I can't wait to be back. Thank you to the hosts.

We loved it. But the listing should state that pets are welcome at the property but not on the beach. Coming from outside of florida we didn't realize this was an issue and expected to enjoy the beach together.

A Relaxing Stay

It was a relaxing stay; upon entry, the view of the water from the bedroom and living room was serene. Nice, clean and quiet. Perfectly situated with multiple eateries within a 3-5mile radius. The short walk to the private beach... The beach was the icing on the cake. Water so clean, sand so white and smoothly fine. I definitely will plan a trip back because there is so much to explore within a short radius which I didn't get to.

Beautiful view!!!! Super convenient!

We enjoyed our stay at south bay 50! We loved watching the turtles! Beautiful views and very convenient to everything! You could practically walk to a lot of things. The pet friendly option is so very nice since we did take our beautiful sweet fur baby with us. The property manager checked in with us to make sure all was well. The walk to the beach is so super easy and convenient! The private beach area and chair/umbrella set up was excellent! We enjoyed it!

Peaceful stay beautiful view

Not a view of the beach but wonderful view of the lake! Nice short walk to the beach! Umbrella service was awesome! Just know that you must bring spices or buy them. Nothing is left and anything you purchase must be tossed at the end of your stay. Other than that, perfect!

Beds very comfortable, sofa bed mattress needs replacing. Remotes need to be simpler. Couldn’t enjoy lower deck in rain, upper deck needs to be water proffered. Overall needs updating. Comfortable enough to stay again, but price needs to be reduced until upgrades are done. Never communicated with property manager. Need option with that rating

Nice view from upper deck.

I felt property was not maintained well. Towel bars and shelves in bathrooms kept falling off. Louvre door for furnace was filthy. The drawer in kitchen stove would not stay closed. It kept coming out every time we closed oven door. No bars in bathtub to hold on to for older people and tubs were very slippery. Great facility for pets and the employees on sight were very nice.walls between units were very thin. Dryer took two hours to dry each load. Need drawers in second bedroom.

Destin Anniversary trip

This was one of our best trips to Destin. The property was close to all our favorite restaurants and an easy walk to the beach. We loved being able to bring our 2 dogs and they enjoyed the trip as well. The only thing I could see that needed to change would be adding lined curtains to the upstairs sliding doors. That would cut down on the heat in the afternoons. Great place to stay and we will return here soon!

Condo was fantastic, fully stocked kitchen, and towels, linens, and was decorated very nicely. The deck views were amazing and for area, very private and quiet. Beach walk was short and enjoyable, crossing the bridge and seeing all turtles daily like they were greeting us was refreshing. Check-In was quick, easy and early, as we were texted for early Check-In, host was very quick with responses and pleasant. Absolutely No Complaints….

Awesome Location!

Great location in the center of everything! Elderly aunt had slight issue navigating steps to the living room & kitchen area on the second level. The only other issue was a mildewy & slippery front door mat that is constantly wet due to sprinklers in front of condo---which tracked into condo. Would recommend putting inside mat as you walk in. Other than that the condo was very comfortable & accommodating. Could use more towels & wash cloths. The host was quick to respond to questions. Very comfortable for 5 adults & a dog.

Great Stay in Destin!

We were in Destin for a baseball tournament for our oldest son. The property was in a great location and proximity to the beach compared to a lot of properties that are pet friendly. It was clean, and everything worked properly. We enjoyed seeing the turtles and ducks, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The beach chair service was great, too. The kids enjoyed playing with the beach toys, and the cooler provided was clutch. Check-in was easy, and the hosts were in touch just to check on everything once we were settled, which we appreciated.

Wonderful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Southbay ~ Turtle Watch. The unit was clean and comfortable with an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed the free beach service on the private beach and everything else you needed was provided in the townhome; from the beach wagon to toys and extra chairs for the beach. We fished off the bridge in the lake and caught huge bluegills and enjoyed watching the turtles swim around. We brought up a couple of cosmetic items to the rental company just as an FYI and they were right there to correct the issues (an example is the porch umbrella had a tear and they came to replace it). They were easy to work with and super helpful. I am one who prefers to stay right on the beach but I would definitely return to this location!

Great Condo!

We loved Southbay 50; the location is great. Being right on the lake, with a short walk to the beach was so relaxing. Sitting out on either of the decks was great with a book & drink. My kids loved watching the ducks & turtles on the lake. The condo was stocked well. Walking distance to several stores was very convenient. The resort was quiet & has well maintained grounds. The umbrella service was nice to utilize. We will be back!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed this condo. It was exactly how it was described and very clean. Location was spot on. Just a 3 min walk to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. We will be back for sure!
