A dog under 15 pounds is allowed at this property for an additional $100 plus tax nonrefundable pet fee. There is also a $10 fee collected by Sandpiper Cove on-site. Current shot records are required at check-in as well. Although Sandpiper Cove allows pets, pets are not allowed on the beach. No beach in Destin/Okaloosa county is pet friendly.

A rare studio that can sleep 5 comfortably. Located up a few steps, you open the door to Sandpiper Cove 8132. The bathroom is on the right once you open the door. The bathroom features a combination tub/shower.
Past the bathroom you will be in the beautifully decorated living space. There is a Queen sized bed so no fussing with a murphy bed. The sofa folds out to a Queen sofa sleeper as well. There is an additional Twin sized bed as well.
The kitchen has all full-sized appliances and the cookware you’d need to cook a bite before walking to the beach. The private Sandpiper Cove beach is located just a short walk away. This condo has free wifi as well.
Another rarity is the large spacious deck located past the large sliding glass doors. The deck features stairs to go down that lead you right one of the 5 complex pools and coin laundry.
Sandpiper Cove complex amenities include coin laundry, 5 swimming pools, tennis courts, on-site restaurant, and free 9 hole 3-par golf course.

Beaching and Golfing

The 4 of us spent time on the beach 3 days, time at the pool 1 day and golfed every day. The complex was perfect for us!

Good Location

Location was great. We are familiar with the area. Good distance to beach, Target, Local Market for breakfast and La Paz for dinner (both highly recommended). Condo could use some updating. Back door does not lock, wood block used to lock it. Older condo. Deck could use nice coat paint, a pressure wash, as well and a new furniture update. The PVC furniture is hilarious. Holiday Isle office staff was very nice. Great communication. Security Shack staff was amazing, super friendly. All and all it did the job for a quick girls trip.

It was nice

As a family of 5, it was too small but we made it work. We like the location and the short walk to the beach. Our favorite Destin restaurant is onsite at SPC and we love the convenience. There were a few things we found disappointing. The floor was uneven and there were cracked tiles. The electricity was unpredictable. We experienced blinking lights and the microwave shutting off when we plugged in our phone charger. The latch on the back door did not work and using the wood piece to lock, although was extra security at night, it was a lot to fumble with. We loved the big back deck for coffee and close proximity to the pool. The bathroom/ shower was a good size.

Life is better at the beach!

We enjoyed our staying at 8132! The location is awesome, right in the middle of everything in Destin! With a family of 5 and 3 teenagers I was worried the space would be a little tight but it absolutely was not, it was just enough with plenty of pillows, bedding, and towels to go around. It was great that the pool was right off the back deck to keep an eye on our teenages and just a short walk to the beautiful beach! We were sad to go, but hope to visit again!!
