The Space:

Welcome to the SunDestin Beach Resort by Scenic Stays, the premier condominium in the heart of Destin situated on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! The onsite Scenic Stays team at SunDestin looks forward to welcoming you to your next beach vacation at our 24-hour front desk. The experience of a lifetime awaits! SunDestin Beach Resort features expansive onsite amenities including a newly renovated outdoor pool, indoor pool (heated seasonally),  indoor and outdoor hot tubs, splash pad (seasonal), steam room, sauna, onsite restaurant, outdoor tiki bar (open seasonally), workout facility, event/meeting space, gift shop, complimentary DVD rentals and much more!



Upon entry to SunDestin Unit 1416, you are greeted by a fully appointed, well stocked kitchen for home cooked meals or a quick snack to take to the beach. An open dining and living room concept immediately follow, with comfortable seating for 4 guests and a relaxing sofa and armchair set after a long day at the beach and pool. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and the emerald waters welcome you from the living room and spacious balcony with seating for two. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and calming sunsets directly overlooking the beach!



Refresh every night in the comfortable king bed located in the master bedroom, while the kids relax in the queen sofa sleeper located in the living room. Enjoy the flat panel televisions located in the living room and bedroom both equipped with DVD players. DVD rentals are available in the lobby directly across from the gift shop!



SunDestin 1416 is professionally managed by Scenic Stays and is best rented directly through our website. Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Roaches and no help available. We ended up leaving early to stay somewhere else.

We had roaches in our room and not small ones either HUGE ONES, We also seen them on the main level which tells me the whole condo was infested..We ended up not staying and leaving early to find somewhere else to stay. The doors were broken and off the tracks on the closets and on the balcony and the blinds were broken were they were hard to close. I was very unhappy with this property and would not recommend to anyone staying in this general area. I tried to call to get some of the funds returned and every number I called I couldn't speak with anyone and the front desk was zero help. The view was beautiful. The linens on the bed were dirty as well. We had to change them the first night we were there to be able to go to sleep. Sad customer service.

Dirty, needs updating

Arrived at location and pictures looked deceiving! Shower handle fell off in our hand. While unloading our food and luggage, about 10 minutes in, I looked at my feet and they were black from the floors. Smelled of cat spray or urine. Ac would not work. Property called maintenance, they arrived the next day and said they were unable to fix it. The property manager moved us to another unit (much better quality and was clean) and were great at expediting the move but the unit itself needs a deep clean, updating, and tons of repairs.

Overall review

The condo was ok. Corner unit so we could see the beach over the top of other condos. The air conditioner was good in living area but took awhile to cool off bedroom. Wish there was ceiling fan in bedroom. Shower water pressure not so good. The walk to beach was great. Just downstairs and out. Restaurant food good but dirty place. Also wish check out was later. 10am super early and we had to walk around with our luggage until we left for airport.

Summer Vacation

Easy booking, great central location. Nice beach. La Dolce Vita chair service is wonderful. Fudpuckers pelican roost attached to condo has good food and easily accessible. Unit: Pros; Ac works perfect, unit was overall clean, kitchen updated nicely, perfect for a small family, corner view of the gulf and side view of the city and opposing condo, could see the harbor fireworks easily. Sheets and blankets all soft. Kitchen is perfect. Cons: pullout queen mattress offers no support, you can feel the springs, mattress needs to be updated. Had to buy mattress topper to make it through the week. Master bedroom mattress not comfortable at all. Blood stain on one pillow case. Patio furniture terrible: seats stained and chairs too short for any view cannot see over the rail and I’m 5’6”. Screen door off track. Light fixture cracked in the kitchen. Shower head too low for anyone over 5’8”. Enjoyed the condo not sure if I will stay in this unit again.

Perfect

Perfect condo for a week at the beach. Had everything we needed, except maybe a pizza pan and pizza cutter! Clean, nice king size bed, extra sheets and blankets, it was like home away from home! Would definitely stay again!
