“What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!”

“Absolutely loved stopping here, it is such a fantastic location and a beautiful property to match. Arlene made us very welcome on check-in and showed us around the property and how things worked, we also got fresh eggs from Arlene's hens , which was a lovely touch Whilst here we visited Glen Moray distillery in Elgin, other distilleries are available, in fact there are loads around here. We also went to the 3B's, Balletar, Balmoral and Braemar which was lovely although Balmoral was closed.on the...

“A lovely, quiet place to stay just a short walk into the village of Braemar. The bonus is that you can walk to the trailheads of two great hikes, one up Morrone and one up Creag Coinnich. The house is well-equipped with comfortable couches and good reading lights (so many houses seem to think no one ever reads!) The one bed we stayed in was very comfortable and the shower water hot! We totally enjoyed staying here. (Not a negative, just a note: the staircase to the second floor is quite steep.)...
