“Pros: Great location, basic kitchen (with an induction hot plate) that worked well for cooking our meals. the bed is comfortable and linens were good quality. Locally sourced coffee and cleaning/personal care items (I bought both to take home). Cons(or suggestions) There are 26 steps, with no railing, to reach the lower suite. Just be aware if you have any mobility issues. There was no towel rack in the bathroom (it looked like there had been one that broke off but just hadn't been replaced...

“We loved our stay at “El Faro”. The location was perfect- close to trails and an easy drive to the centre of town. The suite was super clean. “This rental was a last minute booking, so our expectations were not high. It was great having two washrooms but only one has a shower. The beds were comfy and rooms were spacious but only one bedroom has a closet. There is a functioning washer and dryer which makes longer stays easier. Parking is a little tight, so a smaller vehicle works best. All in all, this rental is a convenient and comfortable stay, close to the trails and a short drive to down town Ucluelet.
