“We arrived early so had a drink in the bar, check in was at 4 but they started to let people check in at 15:40, it was smooth and there were no issues, the lady was friendly and very helpful. As we got to the lodge the main entrance was covered in bird poo, that had definitely been left there a while, we did notice 3 nest right above the door which could not be help but it was obvious there had been no attempt to clean the poo, we went back to reception and showed them photos to which we were...

“Home was warm & clean on arrival with small welcome beverage gift & wood for fire. I have taken one star off cleanliness as one bedroom smelt of sick/ stale milk although we could see they had tried cleaning smell away & had left windows & de humidifiers on in that room. Beds were comfortable & plenty of seating options to accommodate our family of 8 comfortably & parking for 3 cars. The area is close to walks with our dogs & grandchildren enjoyed watching sheep in field behind house too.”

"Room was spacious but facing parking which came as a surprise. Breakfast and dinner options are good. Pool facilities are good. First breakfast only one person doing everything who was stressed and abrupt and complained so out loud. The other morning there were more staff so ok. In general staff are helpful and the stay was pleasant. "
