“Beautifully decorated comfortable chic home and the sofa bed is full size double & comfy. Only downside is it’s not that practical if you plan to cook all your meals in the flat. No cupboard space for groceries, kitchen pots etc are in the bedroom, couldn’t find a frying pan. Was easier to eat out or get takeaways. Bathroom is of high standard but tight on space with no where to put a wash bag or makeup bag or even a toothbrush. Also I would suggest owner puts a proper door on the side room...

“Spent a lovely few days at the Hobbit Cottage. It has a dog friendly garden and it is a short walk to Kames Bay. You can access the Cathedral of the Isles from the end of the cul-de-sac which takes less than 5 minutes. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. June, our host, was very attentive and you only had to ask if you needed anything.”

“A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find.”

“We were led to believe a lift was not required as ground floor. Wheelchair friendly etc. The bedroom was up a very steep set of stairs and no bathroom on the upper level. Having to access the bathroom in the night was quite dangerous for elderly people. The unit was not in good condition and I was asked to pay an insurance type of payment or leave a hundred pound bond that they could access if they felt it warranted it. ”

“At the last moment this booking changed from Suite 82 to 73. The key box was frozen solid, thanks to neighbour for helping open. Once inside there were no instructions to follow, no heating came on, I located the boiler in a cupboard & managed to switch it on, found the Wi Fi Code on the back of the modem. Kitchen tap never stopped leaking. The saucepans/stove/backsplash needed binning as they were filthy. No oven racks or pans. Mould in the shower, huge tear in the duvet cover. When you pay...

Comfy in a very nice part of Scotland

"Great area to visit in Scotland and a very good hotel with fantastic breakfast, comfy rooms and beds. If we would have stayed more days I would have like a gym with sauna/steam or similar. Great with free parking outside the entrance. "

"För andra gången bodde vi på Park Hotel och precis som förra året så lämnar vi hotellet utan några klagomål. Allt passar oss perfekt. Gott om parkeringar och stora rum vilket innebär bra med plats för golfbagarna. Sedan är det väldigt enkelt att ta sig från och till med hyrbil. Nära till väldigt många bra golfbanor och gångavstånd till centrum."
