Semesterboende i Canton de Charly-sur-Marne

"My wife, our 8-month-old daughter, our dog, and I stayed at the château for one night while exploring the area. The hotel is truly beautiful, both in its setting and in the attention to detail throughout the building and interior. We arrived in the afternoon and, unfortunately, dogs weren’t allowed in the fine dining restaurant. So, we opted for dinner at the brasserie instead. Our room was very nice—clean and beautifully decorated in keeping with the overall style of the château. The bathroom featured both a shower and a bathtub, blending modern comfort with a contemporary design. Breakfast was served on the ground floor. Unfortunately, our dog wasn’t allowed there either, but he was happy to enjoy some alone time in the room. The breakfast offered a lovely selection of all the usual items, and it was clear that only high-quality products were used—especially the butter, yogurt, and apple juice. The experience was truly memorable, and I would highly recommend this wonderful place. However, one thing to note (though it wasn’t an issue for us) is that there’s no elevator, as it’s an old building. This meant carrying bags, a baby, and a stroller up and down the stairs a few times. Also, because the château is quite secluded, dining options are basically limited to what the hotel provides."

"Även om ”hotellet” är ett budget hotell så önskar man rena handdukar(!), samt ren toalett. Vi var tvungna att städa av vasken i badrummet. AC fungerade ej, endast varmluft. Ingen ventilation, efter en dusch på kvällen var rummet fuktigt till morgonen efter! Rökdoft i badrummet när vi kom tillbaka på kvällen. Sov där två nätter, innan vi gav upp och åkte därifrån, vi hade bokat tre nätter. Frukost var rostbröd, baguette, croissant(det bästa med vistelsen), apelsinjuice, marmelad & smör, kaffemaskin och varmt dricksvatten som stod vid receptionen i den lilla ytan som frukost också serverades i, även där smutsigt & med en doft som slogs emot en såfort man öppnade dörren in dit. "This is the first Hotel in the history of my life I did a No show on. Overall first impression of Meaux was a suburb in decline and that goes with the Hotel. It looked extremely rough from the outside, more like an apartment Hôtel filled with refugees. Having a car newer than 10 years outside for one night seemed like gambling so we skipped this place and went on to the next destination. "
