“We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. Also ample hot water, AC and strong Wifi. Note that this location is a little far out so not walkable to any amenities. Our host Glenda, who is a native of Monteverde, was amazing. “The view is out of this world! Amazing view of the volcano and it was the most peaceful and serene surroundings. There's nothing like sitting in a hot tub looking at a volcano. We loved the access to all the amenities of the Los Lagos resort too! We were so sad to leave, it did not disappoint. There wasn't anything we disliked, only wish we had booked 2 bedrooms because we are a family of 4.”

“Great location about 10 to 15 minutes drive from La Fortuna. There is a great breakfast/ lunch place nearby however as well as some small Supers. The place itself is excellent with comfortable beds and good showers. It was just me and my partner and it would be ideal for two couples. The hot tub is also very good and the view of Arenal from the balcony is fantastic. I would recommend having a small 4x4 for the gravel roads up to the property and around the area.Thanks for having us in this...

“Casa Calibri Rubi is a beautiful and spacious home in a private gated community, extremely clean, upgraded throughout. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, great A/C units, very nice bathrooms with shower gels/shampoo/conditioner provided. “This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. "Vi fick ett rymligt rum med uteplats som vätte ut mot naturen, hade lite utsikt över vulkanen och där vi hörde bruset från forsen. Fint spaområde med många pooler med temp från varmt till hett samt större pool med normal temp. Hela området är som en botanisk trädgård med vackra blommor och stora fåglar som går omkring. Frukosten var den bästa på hela resan."
